Sony Will Release "The Interview" On Christmas

Update at 10:48 a.m.: Tim League, Austin-based founder of the Alamo Drafthouse, tells The Dallas Morning News via email that "Sony has authorized shows for Christmas Day. Will have Dallas shows on sale within the hour."
...
Sources familiar with this morning's conference call say Sony is going to make the movie available to theaters at a reduced rental rate. They also say Sony is looking put it on a streaming service (not yet named) and video on demand by no later than Christmas. More to come.
North Korea internet -- such as it may be -- was taken down for ten hours yesterday.
North Korea is having major Internet problems, just days after President Barack Obama promised a proportional response to the devastating hacks against Sony.
Oh, so it is possible to mention Barack Obama in the same sentence as possible military action? I ask, because the media kept saying The Pentagon ordered 1300 combat troops to Iraq, with no mention of President Pussyfoot.
The country, which the FBI accused last week of the cyberattack, is suffering a total Internet outage that experts at DYN Research said is out of the ordinary, as first reported by North Korea Tech. According to the research firm, North Korea's Internet connectivity grew steadily worse beginning Sunday night, and then went completely offline Monday morning.
