Iraqi PM: We Have Information That IS is Plotting an Attack on the NYC and Paris Subway Systems

This is the new PM, al-Abadi, by the way.

Asked if the attacks had been thwarted, he said, “No.”

So this is life, now.

Allah has now done a full post in which he questions why al-Abadi went public with this information before giving intelligence organizations a chance to run down the terrorists.

Meanwhile, the US is bombing... oil refineries under IS' control.

IS gets money from a lot of places -- rich sheiks from the Gulf States send them cash, they trade in antiquities they've raided, and of course they stole $400 million in cash (plus gold!) from the bank of Mosul.

But another way the Islamic State garners revenue is by selling oil from the 12 fields it's captured.

Meanwhile, the southern border is still uncontrolled.

Update: al-Abadi says he alerted the authorities in the US and France.
