Hey Remember When I Said We Shouldn't Take Pleasure In Someone Else's Humiliation? Yeah Forget That, I Was High
I got this from Ed Morrissey's post on #GamerGate, and his interview about it with Adam Baldwin. Check out his post if you're interested. Adam Baldwin does a pretty good job of explaining it on Morissey's podcast.
(And it's a hard thing to explain, because it gets into potentially objectionable stuff, like someone's revealed sexual affairs -- but Baldwin does a good job of keeping it out of those weeds, and on the subject of media accountability and integrity. If you're interested, Crank T-Rex has more on the whole scandal.)
If you don't have time for that, enjoy this dude DESTROY (and I do mean destroy) dopey feminist critics who, let's face it, have given up any kind of legitimate critique and now are just looking for things to be OUTRAGED!!! about on a daily basis.
I don't know who this dude is but he brings the thunder.*
Well, I mean, he brings the thunder to the extent it can be brought in a stupid internet nontroversy about an "overly sexualized" drawing of Spider-Woman.
Within that limited sphere, he brings the thunder. Favorite quote: "By constantly bitching about this horseshit..."
Here's a video metaphor of the regularly scheduled feminist outrage:
* Oh, I do know who it is: It's Maddox, who did this piece telling people who claim to "love science" that they don't love science and need to shut the f*** up.
He's great but someone needs to tell him the word is "provocative" not "evocative."
I mean, "evocative" is a word; it's just not the one he intends.
