Happy Tuesday.
Reactions to Obama's stupid "you didn't build that" comment:
Rep. Paul Ryan had a lot to say.
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus: "Says a lot about Obama's big govt philosophy."
The Romney campaign says Obama's insults to business owners "reflect just how unqualified he is to lead us to a real economic recovery."
A Chamber of Commerce blogger was more measured: "the basic idea behind all of these comments is really objectionable and offensive." There was no official statement from the Chamber.*
The National Federation of Independent Businesses (the group that sued over Obamacare) hit the right note in an official statement: “His unfortunate remarks over the weekend show an utter lack of understanding and appreciation for the people who take a huge personal risk and work endless hours to start a business and create jobs."
*UPDATE: I'm told that the Chamber post was written by the Chief Operating Officer, so it's "pretty official."
