Pics from Scott Brown Election Eve Rally in Wrentham [someone]
These aren't mine; they're from someone2, who went out holding signs today before heading to this event in Scott Brown's hometown.
The scene at 7pm
In her own words:
We got there around 4:45 and there were about 100 to 150 people there already. The doors opened at 5, and we milled around admiring the creative handiwork. This was one pumped up crowd. Our man arrived at 5:30, and attempted to hold a small press conference, but well, the crowd was a bit boisterous all evening. If they weren't cheering for Scott, they were attempting to sing God Bless America, at least until the newspeople waved them down. I couldn't hear anything of the presser because I was in the crowd singing at the other end.
There's not really that much I can say about the stump speech (I imagine some of it will make the newschannels), except that he's really good at incorporating the day to day campaign happenings that keep everything fresh, and he's really pissed off about those rape adverts. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I hope he doesn't let it rest. When those came up, the crowd started booing and yelling "Shame on Martha." Also, don't diss the truck! Another big highlight: When he mentioned why his wife couldn't be there, the crowd started shouting "We want Gail." Good times.
Afterward, he promised to stay and sign autographs for everyone who was there, and boy was it a crush. There had to be at least 1000 people in that hall. He's probably still here as I type this. I got a sign scribbled on, but even better than that was a picture I took while waiting my turn :). If people didn't have signs, he'd sign the shirts they were wearing (I didn't manage to get one of those), and, as you can see from my picture, body parts! I'll say it again, it was like meeting Elvis!
The crowd outside, beforehand
Some handmade signs
I think Instapundit already made this doctor famous
Two birds, one stone
This guy can't wash his head for a month now
