Obama's Birthday Cake Demonstrates His Signature Modesty, Restraint

In fairness, he didn't make the cake, of course. (He has no practical skills enabling him to do anything except read a TelePrompter.)

And yet, I'm not in the mood for fairness.

Behold, Carvel's newest creation, Fudgy the Malignant Narcissist:

Donald Trump just wrote me to say "A bit much, isn't it?"

The DC NBC affiliate goofs on the cake, but must of course spend much more time assuring us how wonderfully stylish he and his whole family are.

Because you really can't say something barely negative about the President's cake without piling on the compliments to offset such a slander. That would be disrespectful to the President, and the media has a long history of acting respectfully for the President, going all the way back until January 20th 2009.
