The United Monochrome of Abercrombie & Fitch
Hillary had black faces prominently behind her (well, one or two at least): Obama had nothing but white dudes.
Not just any white dudes, either. White dudes strangely wearing Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirts. Like a product placement.
Abercrombie & Fitch, of course, has been rapped for its very sexual ad campaigns, mostly targeting high-schoolers with lots of money either from their family or their Ecstasy dealing. Here's one of their latest, a mostly nude advertisement for... clothing.
Abercrombie & Fitch has been repeatedly rapped for inappropriate ad materials. I suppose this stuff would be just fine if they were targeting adults, but they're, like, you know, not.
What exactly is Obama's deal with Abercrombie & Fitch? How the hell did that kind of NASCAR corporate-logo festoonery suddenly become acceptable in a presidential candidacy?
And why this particular corporation, pandering to callow young morons with hypersexualized imagery?
What, was Benetton too "on the nose" for his liking?
Having allied himself with the economic hard left, the racial hard left, and the blame-America-first hard left, and the terrorist-sympathizing hard left, is he now also declaring his solidarity with the sexual hard left as well?
Correction: I erroneously first wrote that the ad noted here was somehow connected to A&F. It's not, it's Dolce & Gabbana.
