Not Quite Dead

At this point I guess I owe an explanation. I try to avoid boring people with personal stuff, especially as I have no life of which to speak anyway, but when it affects the blog, I guess I have to say something.

I've been tired of going to bed late and waking up late. I've got some sort of headcold or flu that's making me sleep a lot, but not very restfully. And I don't sleep well when I am sleeping.

Last night I tried to do what I usually do when my body's clock gets way out of sync. I tried to just stay up all night through the day, so that I'd conk out at a very early seven o'clock or so.

It didn't work. I wound up being too dizzy through the morning to post and by 11 o'clock or so I just couldn't stay up any further.

So, yeah, I fell asleep around eleven AM and woke up around 6:30 PM. I went even further into nocturnal living.

Tonight I try plan B -- nyquil at one AM or so.

I apologize for the days off. Wednesday I took off because the mu.nu outage prevented me from posting until around 5 pm, at which point I figured, might as well just go out for the night.

Today was just a massive screw-up. I used to be able to sort-of barely function after being awake for 24 hours straight; I don't know if I can't do that anymore, or it's just that I'm sick.
