Some Conservatives React To News That Execution of Scumbag Who Murdered 15-Year-Old Girl Is Delayed
IAAL (I ain't a lawyer), so I'm not qualified to comment on Alito's vote from a legal point of view (I'll leave that to the lawyer-types like my buddy Sobek).
I do think the idea that lethal injection is "cruel and unusual punishment" is laughable, but I'm not ready to start pushing the "Souder Panic Button".
But, really, isn't it bad form to exchange high-fives because Teddy Kennedy "made an ass out of himself" (again) when we're talking about a(n alleged) convicted killer escaping punishment, even if it's only temporary? I don't think that's what's on the mind of the family of the girl who was killed.
Besides, I think Teddy stopped being embarrassed by or ashamed of his actions (or their consequences) a long time ago.
