Yes, I Know There's Real News, But...
...it's a gorgeous Spring weekend and I'm just not really caring about North Korean nukes at the moment. I'll be more serious tomorrow, I hope.
Meantime, you geeks will really appreciate the cross-geek synthesis of Kevin Smith reviewing Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. His take in brief: f'n' awesome, except he doesn't say f'n', because he's a potty-mouth.
Over on The Perfect World, "Raskalnikov" asks a variation of the immovable object/irresistable force chestnut:
Who would win a shoot out between a Star Wars Stormtrooper, who can't hit the broad side of a barn, and a Star Trek [Red-Shirt] Security Officer, who always die[?]
It's a good question. A good, stupid-geek question. Seriously-- whose incompetency and eternal failure to seek out cover of any kind is the greater?
Thanks to TPW's "Did George Lucas Ruin Star Wars?" thread.
The Answer To the Ultimate Question? GrudgeMatch.com has already, uhh, wargamed the Stormtroopers vs. Red Shirts scenario.
Thanks to Embittered.
