Keeping Your Churchills Straight
If you're like me, you sometimes begin to wonder, "Wait-- which of these guys led Britain through the darkest days in its history, and which one of these guys claims to be an Indian on the basis of keeping Dances With Wolves nineteen days overdue from Blockbuster?"
It gets so darned confusing, and I hate being confused. As a wise man once said, "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son."
And so I lost weight.
But anyway, if you find yourself needing a scorecard to tell Winston Churchill from Ward Churchill, you just happen to be in luck, because Dummocrats.com has put one together.
"We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
That, of course, was the great Winston Churchill. Ward Churchill has a somewhat different take:
"If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it."
Or did I get them confused again?
