The Morning Report — 7/19/23

Good morning, kids. You know, it's almost as if the idiots in Kalorama actually want Donald Trump to face off against Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants or whoever the vegetable/ham sandwich du jour will be whom the DNC selects in a rigged primary. But it strikes me as schizophrenic; do they not realize that every indictment they hurl at Trump only increases his lead in the polls over the equally poll-boosting crowded GOP field? To me, if they just left Trump alone to fade away these past two and half years, he'd have immolated himself and the movement he created would go the way of the Tea Party.

Yes, of course, they do have the cheat machine "fortified" in at a minimum the key swing states and districts and likely the rest of the nation that will ensure "the right outcome" once all the counting of ballots legitimate or otherwise is concluded, so why go to the trouble to do this? I think their rationale is two-fold: first, it distracts from the massive, actual and documented political crime wave that is Joe Biden and his family, and the disaster and destruction his physical presence in the White House has wrought, and second, it serves as both a public execution of their greatest nemesis and object of hatred which, more crucially is a warning to anyone who opposes them. Not just in politics but in everyday life. That is, you and me. By the way, you are equally hated along with Trump and any America-first limited government type by your own alleged party.

As I have stated many times, and it doesn't get any easier each time I do, barring some sort of miracle, there is no way that Trump or any GOP candidate is going to beat the Democrat. Having captured the systems that control the government and far too much of the economy, they are now about consolidating power and marginalizing all political opposition by every means at their disposal. At some point, the becomes violent on their part. I think they think that they can get away with almost anything. No one person, group of persons or organization has effectively stopped them or even slowed them down.

So, yeah. Trump is destined for a public execution. But as I said, given that every time he's indicted or hit with some bullshit charge his polls go through the roof (even more so when Biden(s) skate on real crimes), do they really want to do this? Their calculus is that there will be no real reaction from the populace. Perhaps they're correct given what happened to the fools who allowed themselves to be Ray Epps'd into the Capitol and worse, the hundreds or even thousands more who were guilty of the crime of wearing a MAGA hat while being in Washington DC on 1/6/21. Ditto Kyle Rittenhouse, Daniel Penny, et al. As they say in French pour encourager les autres.

What's the answer to all this? I wish I knew. Check that; I do know and it scares the shit out of me. If you're looking for a Trump or DeSantis or anyone for that matter who is involved in electoral politics, which to me is resembling mere kabuki theater given everything else going on around it, you're wasting your time. I would say we need a Gandhi or a Rosa Parks. But we already have them by the dozens rotting away in jails for doing nothing more than trespassing while exercising their First Amendment rights of free speech and protest.

And yet here we are, myself included, outraged as we are doing nothing more than banging on a computer keyboard. At what point does Atlas shrug? At what point will we risk “our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor?”

I'm sick of this crap. I really, really am. Enough for me to jump over the DMZ and give Whoa, Fat! a big wet kiss? Meh, soon enough, the DMZ will be here.

By the way, Obama's brother just confirmed the dog-eater is a homo. I'm shocked.
