Let Dr. Oz Tell You All About the Need for Transgender Reassignment Surgery for Young Children

This is the MAGA candidate, I'm reliably informed by Sean Hannity and Ric Grennell and other people.

Yeah I don't see that happening -- I don't see either "man" being game for that.

That interview here. She also mentioned which college she'd been an adjunct professor at.

The new attack on her is that she's "anti-Muslim," and, in fairness, she does say Pam Gellar-like things about Muslims. While she seems to mostly have a problem with political Islam and sharia law, she does not attempt at all to distinguish those from Islam itself, and simply deems Islam itself to be the problem.

Ric Grennell is of course pushing this line:

How do I put this delicately...? Grennell works for Trump and we, collectively, have had to justify a lot of intemperate, un-PC things Trump has said about various categories of people but now we're supposed to all freak out that Kathy Barnette said that Muslims are a threat to the US?

It's a little late to be playing the PC Card isn't it, guys?

Let's be serious.

Here are my three takes on Barnette's Muslim Problem:

1, I think I'll take some anti-Muslim-bias over Captain Gender-Swap over here. Even though he's totally MAGA and completely dedicated to taking down Mitch McConnell and everything. Yes, it's not ideal. But we do not have ideal candidates. (Someone mentioned to me that one of the candidates in the back of the pack is very good but I don't think she's going to suddenly catch fire over the weekend, alas.)

2, We have an entire political class infected with "Islam Means Peace" lies. It will help to have one (1) Senator who holds a different opinion, even if that opinion is a bit overbroad and a bit, yeah, "extreme." It would be nice to have one (1) Senator who says, "Actually, Islam does not mean peace at all."

3, I've sat through six years of black leftist commentators -- who are not only welcomed by the leftist media and academy, but feted -- saying the most egregiously bigoted things about white people, and I've been told by the left that I had to shut up and take my Lecture.

I've also been told by NeverTrump -- particularly leftwing goons like AllahPundit and the leftwing c*nts at The Bulwark he's always linking -- that if I object to the constant screeds about "eradicating whiteness," I'm guilty of "white resentment," "white grievance culture," and being a "culture warrior."

So here we have a black American woman expressing some strident cultural criticism against Muslims -- am I now supposed to say, "Oh, that's beyond the pale! The constant attacks on white people from black leftists were fine and justified, and I'm guilty of borderline racial hostility for just objecting to racism directed at myself, but this single black woman harshly critiquing Muslims must be denounced and cast out of political life!"

Really? Really?!?

Ibram X. Khendi's book on "eradicating whiteness" was until this week recommended reading for US Naval Officers -- but Kathy Barnette is not allowed to say that the actual ideology the US Navy has spent the last two decades at war with is a problem for the US?!?!

Fuck you. Fuck you, fuck you.

Actually, I'll add a fourth point:

4, Even though I have doubts she can win, I'm becoming more zealously in favor of her given these weak, hypocritical attacks on her and I am becoming more and more hostile to the people making these attacks on her.

This is Trump's wounded ego talking, and I am getting very sick of hearing from Trump's wounded ego.

Take the L, Champ. No one wants your Oprah candidate.

BTW, I continue to say, I think Trump's basic play here -- back a candidate who would (maybe) be loyal to him and not Mitch McConnell and the GOPe -- was justifiable. McConnell has been absolutely ruthless and mercenary and cut-throat in selecting senate candidates loyal to the Corporate Party; it's good and right to start picking candidates who oppose it.

But Oz was the wrong candidate to back for this play. He's a liberal, period.

And I don't think a liberal will oppose the Corporate Party. Liberals are the Corporate Party.

Trump already came out with a statement the other day saying that he chose Oz because he thought he could win and wasn't all lined up with McConnell. He said that Barnette seems like a good person but there was too much in her background that needed looking into and that that would hurt her in the general. He said he would support her and work with her if she won.
