Nancy Mace Was Right? Police Arrest Her Ex-Fiance and Three Other Men for Sexually Abusing an Unconscious Woman

She originally Soft Opened these charges with surveillance camera video from a gym. I thought she was complaining that the surveillance camera photographed her wearing her gym clothes.

I don't know why she didn't lead with the real story, the sexual assault on an unconscious woman.

South Carolina authorities have charged three of the four men Rep. Nancy Mace accused in a 2025 House floor speech of sexually abusing women and girls with offenses related to the alleged sexual assault of a 23-year-old incapacitated woman in 2018.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division announced the charges Wednesday against John Douglas Osborne, 46, Brendan Patrick Bryant, 53, and Eric Bernard Bowman, 46. All three men were booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County.

Bryant is the former fiancé of Mace, who has said that she ended of her engagement to Bryant in November 2023 after discovering videos of women being sexually abused on his cellphone.

The alleged incident occurred Oct. 26, 2018, on Sullivan's Island, a 3 1/2-mile-long barrier island home to some 2,000 people near Charleston Harbor.

According to the affidavits supporting the charges, the victim, a 23-year-old woman, was drunk when she fell into the swimming pool of a residence. She then removed her wet clothes but for her bra and passed out on a sofa.

While she was unconscious, the three men are accused of discussing sexual exploits before agreeing that Osborne would have sex with the woman as the others watched.

The documents allege that as Osborne kissed, digitally penetrated and performed oral sex on the incapacitated woman, Bryant and Bowman watched. They are also accused of taking photos and video of the incident.

An unidentified witness allegedly overheard the alleged conversation between the men and watched Bowman and Bryant via a home security video feed apparently record the assault. The documents state the witness also obtained and saved two still photographic images from the security video feed and created an email or journal entry detailing the incident from her perspective.

The announcement comes nearly two years after Mace, a Republican firebrand, took to the House floor on Feb. 10, 2025, to accuse the three men and another of raping and filming women they had incapacitated. She also alleged that they took nonconsensual photos and videos of the victims.

She said she had found thousands of videos and photos of the alleged crimes and had identified almost a dozen dozen victims, including herself.

Well color me surprised.

I guess her speech did mention the assault. But she spoke about it in such a fuzzy way I didn't know what she was specifically alleging.

"I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable -- we are talking about rape, nonconsensual photos, nonconsensual videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated exploitation," Mace revealed in her shocking speech.

I will just note that feminists basically use these words now to attack people just for criticizing them online. Without specifying the specific actions allegedly committed, no one can tell what a feminist means when she says "rape" any longer. (And Mace is, of course, a strident feminist. She sued the Citadel and forced her way into the formerly all-boys military academy.)
