A former CIA officer admitted in a plea deal Tuesday that he disclosed details about a secret U.S. intelligence source to a foreign official and embezzled nearly $200 million from the federal government.

David Rush pleaded guilty in Virginia federal court to one count of wire fraud after an FBI raid on his home in May uncovered 298 gold bars worth $46 million, $2.1 million in cash and dozens of luxury items.

Justice Department officials said Rush embezzled $194 million from the federal government, using his position at the intelligence agency to create an elaborate scheme designed to facilitate his "maximum self-enrichment at the expense of the United States."

Rush admitted in a plea document that he disclosed "certain descriptive information of a U.S. government clandestine human source" last year that could "endanger the safety and life of the human source and the U.S. government officers working with the source," according to NBC News.

He also admitted his actions jeopardized America's "ability to recruit human sources, who rely on the U.S. government's assurance of absolute secrecy."

Which country he sold us out to was not revealed. His plea deal calls for merely up to 20 years in prison.

Maryland jury finds that males falsely accused of sexual assault are therefore the victims of sex-based harassment.

In what may amount to a landmark decision for college campuses, a Maryland jury has declared a man falsely accused of sexual assault the victim of sex-based harassment.

A male college student falsely accused of sexual assault scored a major victory for due process and equal rights late last month, after a federal jury found the University of Maryland failed to protect him from severe harassment after he was falsely accused and ultimately cleared through the school's own Title IX process.

The jury sided with the falsely accused student -- identified as John Doe in a federal lawsuit reviewed by The Daily Wire -- who accused the University of Maryland of failing to protect him from severe harassment, including a student-led smear campaign, after he was fully cleared from from the female student's allegations.

The case was heard before an Obama-appointed judge, Paula Xinis, and the jury found evidence that falsely accused man faced harassment that was "so severe, pervasive, and objectively offense that it deprived him of equal access to an educational opportunity or benefit at the University of Maryland." It also found that the University of Maryland "was deliberately indifferent to the harassment."

The ruling marks the first time that a jury has ever found that false sexual assault accusations can be considered sex-based harassment, according to the man's attorney, Jason Greaves of the Binnall Law Group.

Sanity half-prevails as a federal judge upholds New Hampshire's new election-security rules, which state that a student cannot just show a student ID to prove his eligibility to vote. He must show official ID showing he's a permanent resident of New Hampshire.

Unfortunately, this woke judge then struck down New Hampshire's rule that all voters must show an official ID. He claims that's an "overstep" of authority that might keep illegal aliens from voting for Democrats.

He didn't say the last part, but that's their concern.

New Hampshire students will no longer be able to use a student ID card as proof of identity when they show up to the polls to vote after a federal judge upheld the state's new voter ID restrictions.

The ruling, issued by U.S. District Court judge Joseph Laplante, upheld a New Hampshire law requiring students to have a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, to vote.

But Laplante's decision also sided with good government groups who sued over New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan's unilateral extension of that requirement to the voter registration process, ruling that the state's top election official overstepped his authority.

"The State has offered no independent justification for that broader prohibition," Laplante wrote in the ruling. "Under the Supreme Court’s standard for evaluating voting regulations, even a minimal burden on the right to vote must be justified by the State’s interests, and the State has identified no interest."

The NYT is attempting to get Sophie Cunningham banned from the WNBA.

A New York Times columnist says WNBA player Sophie Cunningham, an outspoken opponent to transgender athletes in women's sports, has turned games for her team, the Indiana Fever, into a "circus" and that the team should release her.

The Fever was eliminated last week from championship contention, and the 30-year-old Cunningham is now an unrestricted free agent for a second consecutive offseason.

"Cunningham is too combustible, her takes too turbulent to be paired with [league star] Caitlin Clark," columnist Candace Buckner writes in her opinion story, published Tuesday.

NEW: Haverford Professor Guangtian Ha has been arrested and charged with cyberstalking a Jewish colleague.

Posing as a MAGA anon on X, he allegedly messaged another Haverford professor around 50 times between October 2025 and May 2026.

In addition to posting vile antisemitic messages (see below), he allegedly posted his colleague's "home address, infant child's name, a photograph of the family's mailbox, countless antisemitic slurs and threats, and reference to real-time observation of their home."

The target's wife twice moved out of the home with their three children because they were so terrified.

Ha is a member of Faculty for Justice in Palestine.

He has called complaints about antisemitism on campus "Zionist witch hunts."

Originally from China, he is an associate professor of religion at Haverford who studies Islam in China.

He holds a PhD in anthropology from Columbia. His dissertation is entitled, "Religion of the Father: Islam, Gender, and Politics of Ethnicity in Late Socialism."

He won the 2023 Clifford Geertz Prize in the Anthropology of Religion for his book, The Sound of Salvation: Voice, Gender, and the Sufi Mediascape in China.

He is "charged with one count of cyberstalking pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §
2261A(2). The statutory maximum for cyberstalking is five years' imprisonment, three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment."
