Democrat Representative Jimmy Gomez accused of sexual assault.

An unidentified woman has accused Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) of sexual assault as part of a House Ethics Committee investigation that was sparked by a Post exposé, according to a statement released by her lawyers Wednesday.

Democrats on Capitol Hill believe Gomez, 51, may resign in the wake of the disclosure -- following his close friend Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who stepped down in April after multiple women alleged sexual harassment or assault.

Attorneys Lisa Banks and Sarah Nesbitt slammed Gomez for publicly claiming that the committee is only investigating "consensual" sexual relations by the married Dads Caucus founder.

"We represent one of the women who was interviewed by the House Committee on Ethics about her experience of sexual harassment and assault by Representative Jimmy Gomez," Banks and Nesbitt said.

"Contrary to Representative Gomez's assertion in his statement, his actions were not 'consensual in nature' with respect to our client. We fully expect that the House Committee on Ethics will come to the same conclusion in its investigation."

The lawyers added: "This is just the latest example of brazen sexual misconduct by a member of Congress. Congress must act to rein in its members who seem to believe that preying on young women working on Capitol Hill is one of the perks of their job."

The Ethics Committee started to investigate Gomez after The Post reported in April that he was seen kissing a much younger aide to a different lawmaker in the summer of 2023 outside a backyard party hosted by Swalwell.

Gomez initially denied it, but copped to having an affair in June, admitting to "personal mistakes outside my marriage that have caused real pain to my wife and family," in a statement to CNN that characterized the extramarital relations as "consensual."

The lawmaker issued a similar statement Monday after the committee publicly confirmed its investigation for the first time.

Gomez, Swalwell and Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), the last of whom served in the House for a decade, formed a tight-knit crew -- collectively known as the "Cool Kids Clique" -- that developed a reputation for heavy drinking and womanizing.

Gallego has privately admitted to sleeping with House aides who worked for at least two different lawmakers, The Post reported last month. He did not deny the account, calling the story "gossip."

Anti-rich DSA leader Gustavo Gordillo lives it up in posh $1.5M NYC pad paid for by millionaire parents

The millionaire parents of a whiny top DSA leader have set up their socialist son in a $1.5 million Brooklyn home -- where he lives while railing against the rich and property ownership, The Post has learned.

Gustavo Gordillo, the 38-year-old co-chair of the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, is peddling his anti-capitalist lefty agenda while enjoying the life in the two-story, nearly 2,000-square-foot row home on a gentrifying tree-lined block in Bed-Stuy.

"I wish my family could afford to buy me a million-dollar home," said local renter Faith Smith, 36 -- who called the socialist Yale University grad a hypocrite.

"It's a rich kid,'' she said of the Yalie. "That's basically people who don't have to deal with the struggles we have to deal with."

The Ivy League radical's converted single-family home was bought in 2019 by his mommy and daddy through a dummy corporation, Chucuito LLC, for just under $1 million, property records show.

Since then, it has undergone a major facelift, with renovations done to its entire front facade, the planting of lush landscaping, the revamping of the interior and the addition a pair of decks on the roof as well as near the front door, according to plans filed with the borough in 2023.

Updates to the property continued Tuesday at least on its second floor, The Post observed.

"My son and my other son both live there," Gordillo's father said when reached by phone. "The LLC purchased the home, and then we did the renovations."

Gordillo and his DSA comrades have meanwhile railed against property ownership, calling for a redistribution of land "from landowners to the landless."

Gordillo also recently attacked landlords in a vitriolic interview on Fox News last month, when he offered up little sympathy for property and other business owners who skate by with small margins.

"We don't think that anybody should have the constitutional right to double-digit returns on their investment," he said.

It was unclear whether Gordillo, who listed the LES one-bed, one-bath as his primary residence at that time, repaid his parents for rent.

Calls to him were not returned.

Very interesting email just came our way about yet another superstar DSA rich kid who needs his parents to bail him out. Shocking, I know.

So it turns out that DSA strategist Morris Katz was, according to this very reliable source, renting a $5,700/month luxury apartment on Lorimer Street in Brooklyn and just stopped paying rent one day.

He apparently bounced several checks, dodged calls from the management company, super, and landlord, lied about being 'out of town', overstayed his lease, and then left all his belongings behind to be dealt with by the staff.

Ultimately his rich parents, of course, bailed him out with the landlord, presumably to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars.

Again, this is the DSA. A group of spoiled brats who cannot even manage their own lives, yet supposedly have all the answers for how our entire world should be run. An absolute joke.

The Korean women's spa forced by the Ninth Circuit to allow men in their spas to show their dicks to women is appealing to the Supreme Court.

A women-only Korean spa in Lynnwood, WA, is petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse a Ninth Circuit court ruling that requires the facility to accommodate transgender individuals.

The legal battle stems from a complaint filed by a transgender woman who had not undergone gender-affirming surgery and was denied admission to the facility.

According to attorneys who are defending the spa, the state of Washington said the spa must allow males who identify as women into its nude, female-only facility.

What we know:

Olympus Spa is a traditional Korean day spa that serves women and girls ages 13 and older, offering services in communal areas where patrons are fully unclothed.

The spa is asking the nation's highest court to overturn a decision by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

According to attorneys with the Alliance Defending Freedom and Pacific Justice Institute, who are defending the spa, the state of Washington said the spa must allow males who identify as women into its nude, female-only facility.

Kevin Snider, chief counsel with the Pacific Justice Institute, stated that the company's policy is rooted in both religious beliefs and traditional cultural norms regarding modesty.

"They believe that men and women should not be unclothed in each other's presence unless they are married to each other," Snider said. "That's their Christian view, and then of course... it violates their cultural sensibilities."

If the Supreme Court agrees to review the petition, consideration would likely take place in late winter or early spring, with a potential ruling issued sometime in the spring.

Really interesting work from Patrick Ruffini. Across 3,312 Senate polls over four cycles, he finds a D+3.7 average error, with 73% overstating Democrats. Even more interesting is that the error peaks around D+5.9 in late July before narrowing toward Election Day.

That adds an important dimension to what we found in our broader Quantus Insights Apr 23, 2025 study. We documented a persistent post-2016 directional error, including roughly D+4.2 across presidential battlegrounds, with some of the largest misses among working-class, rural and non-college electorates.

Aside from this problem being directional there's also a seasonal component too, particularly in midterms, when summer polling can substantially overstate Democratic strength. It's not until days into October before the electorate comes into clearer focus.

Some Jewish Democrats are exhorting others to join them in voting for Mike Rogers for Michigan Senator.

Jewish leaders in Michigan are circulating an open letter urging Jewish Democrats and independents in the battleground state to sign their names in support of former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) as he faces Abdul El-Sayed, the far-left Democratic nominee for Senate whose hostile positions on Israel have alarmed many Jewish voters.

The letter, which was obtained by Jewish Insider on Wednesday and has not yet been publicized, is led by Eric Bronstein, a Detroit businessman, among others identifying as Democrats and independents.

It came to light after a fundraiser for Rogers on Tuesday night hosted by three prominent Jewish Democratic bundlers in Michigan who are likewise alarmed by El-Sayed's candidacy. The growing efforts among Jewish Democrats to rally support for Rogers in the key Senate race illustrate the degree to which El-Sayed has alienated a sizable and politically active swing voting bloc in what is expected to be a close election.

"We know it is unusual for many Jewish voters to support a Republican candidate for senate and we understand the implications," Bronstein wrote in a recent email courting Jewish signatories that was also reviewed by JI. "Our fellow Jewish voters need to see their friends and neighbors -- including you -- willing to take a stand in this specific, crucial race."

Bronstein did not immediately return a request for comment on Wednesday.

The open letter, which the authors intend to share online once it has gained "a significant initial group of signers," emphasizes that many signatories "have been fiercely supportive of Democratic candidates and principles."

"All of us have felt threatened and alienated by the politics and allies embraced by Abdul El-Sayed," the letter continues, "which has included demonization of Jews, equivocation on terrorism, exclusion of Jewish Americans from public life, and expression of implacable hatred of the world's only Jewish nation."

If El-Sayed were to claim victory in the general election, the authors say, "we fear the far-left and anti-Jewish elements in the Democratic party would become dominant, including in the imminent 2028 presidential race," when Michigan will be among the early nominating states in the Democratic primaries. "We cannot allow him to become the Democratic standard-bearer or Michigan's senator."

Abdulrahman El-Sayed doesn't need Jews, though. He's pitching himself to Christians by telling them, "I'm basically Jesus, because we're both radicals."

Oh, and for blacks who are skeptical of him: El-Sayed says he's A Black, too.
