Socialists Take Over the New York Democrat Party, Eye a National Takeover

BREAKING: Rep. Espaillat concedes. Mamdani-backed socialists have officially gone 3/3 and won all of their respective Democratic primaries for U.S. House in New York tonight. Their positions are some of the most extreme & far left Dems have seen:

Darializa Avila Chevalier (NY-13): Abolish prisons, abolish ICE, abolish borders, defund the police, and "all deportations are wrong", including for violent criminals. She has called the U.S. an "effing disgrace", and said in a prior social media post "I forgot to get napkins so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me."

Claire Valdez (NY-7): Grant citizenship and voting rights to illegal aliens, use taxpayer funds for all transgender treatments, & eliminate private health insurance.

Brad Lander (NY-10): Abolish ICE, forgive all student loans (almost $2 trillion worth), expand the Supreme Court.

Mamdani gets a clean sweep, a bad night for Hakeem Jeffries, and big questions for where the Democratic Party is heading.

One of the big winners yesterday was a communist who wants to empty the prisons and refuses to say that even murderers should go to jail. Darializa Chevalier -- a child of an immigrant and, as Actual Justice Warrior surmised, most likely an anchor baby herself -- is firmly against deportations for any reason, favors illegal aliens voting in US elections because the elections affect them too, and wants to end all enforcement at the border.

Meet the Islamic daughter of an immigrant who a leftwing magazine calls "the Next AOC," Darializa Avlia Chevalier.

She is now the Democrat candidate for the 13th Congressional district in NY and will of course win the general.

She says that if you're convicted of murder in the US you cannot be deported on top of that because that would be "double jeopardy" and there's a constitutional forbiddence of that. This is of course completely untrue; if you commit both a murder and a theft, you can be punished for either. Double jeopardy means being punished twice for the same offense, but the Learning Disability Left doesn't know basic things like this.

This anchor baby has an Anchor Murder policy, as Actual Justice Warrior termed it. She really believes that if you commit a murder in the US and go to jail for it, you are now guaranteed permanent residence in the US because deporting you after the murder sentence is double jeopardy.

She is a zealot on defunding the police and emptying the prisons. refuses to say that even murder should result in a prison sentence. Liberal Ben Smith asked her four times in this group interview by liberals if a murderer should ever go to jail and she kept refusing to answer, saying instead that she wants to look at the root causes for the murder and objecting to prison because people only go to prison if they're "black and brown."

Oh and she attended a pro-Palestinian rally the day after October 7, to celebrate the attacks, and converted to Islam three years ago.

Mamdani-endorsed Aber Kwas won the Democrat Primary tonight for a State Senate seat in New York.

The voters for another DSA candidate chanted "You're next" when Hakeem Jeffries came on TV, meaning "You're the next one we'll primary with a communist."

Mark Halperin pointed out that Jews no longer have any realistic possibility of being elected to the presidency or vice presidency in the Democrat Party, and that the party is now so extreme that AOC wouldn't be considered progressive enough to be a presidential candidate -- she's too "establishment," you see.

A liberal New York political club declined to endorse the Zohran Mamdani-backed candidate for New York's 13th Congressional District, socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier, following a "spirited meeting" in which Chevalier refused to condemn Hamas.

"We usually support the younger, more progressive candidate," Broadway Democrats wrote in its Thursday newsletter.

"But we cannot do this in the 13th District Congressional race, and it is not a close call. That is because ... at our own endorsement meeting, when asked to condemn Hamas and its October 7th attacks, [Chevalier] point-blank refused, turning the question into yet another attack on Israel."
