Grasping Basket-Case Nancy Mace Humilitated in Run for SC Governor, Finishing... Fifth

How could she finish fifth in the SC Republican gubernatorial primary? She got Trump's endorsement!

Or... so her social media account strongly implied, using an AI generated fake picture of her and Trump.

I tried to find her actual posts implying that she had Trump's endorsement -- and being Community Noted into oblivion -- but I can't find them now. I think she might have deleted them in embarrassment.

Like Thomas Massie and MTG, she cynically tried to ride the Epstein Files to victory, promising the QAnon contingent that she would finally validate all of their shapechanging conspiracy theories.

It did not work.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., on Tuesday seemed to leave open the door to remaining in public and political life after her fifth-place finish in the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial primary.

Fifth in a six-man field.

"I will always be grateful for the people of South Carolina who trusted me, fought with me, and refused to look the other way. This isn't the end of the fight. It's just the end of this chapter," she said, without specifying future plans.

Mace appeared to blame her loss on her support for releasing the Epstein files.

"I voted to release the Epstein files and lost some support for that.

As a survivor, I chose to stand on principle and stand against the Epstein cover-up," she added. "I chose to expose the names hidden in the sexual harassment slush fund."

From the NY Post: She's really milking this "survivor" claim.

Mace attributed the snub to her support for releasing government documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein.

"I know I put the likelihood of an endorsement on the line when I demanded transparency on the Epstein files," Mace wrote on X. "I demanded it because you deserved the truth -- ALL OF IT -- and as a survivor of a corrupt and broken court system, I will always pursue justice for those who deserve it.

"If sacrificing my values is the price of an endorsement, I will never pay it."

Is she talking about those sketchy, vague claims that her then-fiance took videos of her when she was working out in the gym? Is that what she "survived"? I think I remember some other claims from when she was younger. But the fresh claims of being caught on surveillance cameras when fully dressed in a gym make me wonder very much about claims she has been abused but "survived" that abuse.

Nancy Mace does not have the emotional intelligence to hold the office she has much less to that which she aspires. This looks petty.

Also, Mace used the Epstein case. She continues to use it as an excuse for her failure to get elected. Previously, she used it just like Massie, who used it just like the Democrats. It was a drum to beat to make noise, gain attention, further political ambition.

Of course, this is what politicians do. We need statesmen, not politicians. We need people who for to serve the public, not public figures who merely call themselves a public servant in order to make personal ambition.

Surprisingly, it seems that the only other type of person that is fit for office other than statesmen is businessmen. That is why Trump is good. He sees problems and wants to fix them. Unfortunately, he has to get the support of politicians to make lasting changes.

All of these assholes blame the Epstein Files for their losses. That gets it backwards. They are all already in big trouble, and they cast about for some issue they would pull them out of the abyss. In the late innings, all of them chose to join the Democrats to pretend that Trump is in the Epstein Files and/or covering the Epstein Files up to protect Mossad.

I will always remember her for the class and sense of propriety she showed when addressing the audience at the National Prayer Breakfast, when she told mostly-religious attendees that the boyfriend she has sex with outside of wedlock tried to get intimate with her that morning, after (one assumes) sleeping with her all night, but she told him no, she had to get ready to deliver prayerful remarks and pick out a tight top that showed that she is Blessed by the Lord in the juggs department.

I'm not a prude. I do have a sense of propriety, though.

She says she's honoring her pledge to serve only three terms in Congress... which sounds noble, except she never made that pledge.

She's trying to claim that she did the noble thing in failing to climb the political ladder.

Let us purge all the flakes, grifters, hangers-on, fame-whores, clock-punchers, know-nothings, morons, and of course, RINO Establishment Saboteurs.
