The role has been cursed by wokeness, and now no actors want to play Doctor Who, because they don't want to be associated with the "baggage" of the previous seasons of woke poison.

Although the show is currently on a long unplanned hiatus, the BBC had planned a "Christmas" special-- which became a New Years Special during its woke years because the show didn't want to acknowledge Christmas*. But even the "Christmas" special is in doubt because they just can't find an actor to play Doctor Who.

This is probably due to the fact that they are determined to do more woke gender- and race-bending stunt casting but the potential DEI Doctors don't want to jump into this garbage swamp at any price.

The Doctor Who Christmas special could be exterminated as the BBC is allegedly unable to find a new lead star.

The show is in a state of flux after ending its latest series in May 2025 with the sudden departure of Ncuti Gatwa as the Time Lord.

The ungrateful gay immigrant flounced when he was asked to be a jury panelist for their boradcast of Eurovision. The rumor that went around was that she refused because Israel was a contestant. The "official" reasons for the sudden withdraw all seem like bullshit -- too tired! his schedule is so hectic! -- and they keep changing. Soon after he was announced to no longer be Doctor Who. Which suggests the BBC was sick of him after his horrible ratings. People with horrible ratings don't get to act like entitled divas for long.

Former companion Billie Piper appeared to replace Gatwa as the show's new Doctor, when the character underwent a regeneration at the end of the episode.

Piper's inclusion was a "very last-minute" decision, according to the star, and came after a sharp decline in viewership ratings. The BBC opted to put the show on hiatus for the remainder of 2025, meaning there was no festive special, but showrunner Russell T Davies wrote an episode, starring Piper, that was due to be released this December.

However, it's been reported that the special might be scrapped as bosses are struggling to find anyone to take on the permanent role of the 16th Doctor, as Piper's appearance will be for one episode only. Instead, the BBC would forge ahead with a new series airing Easter 2027.

"With less than seven months to go, [the special] looks like it's hanging in the balance," a source told The Sun.

"The problem is that they have found it difficult to find anyone who'll take on the part of the 16th Time Lord, partly because it now feels like a role that comes with all the baggage of the most recent series.

The source added: "There are fears that even if they do manage to pull something together, it is going to be a poor cousin to previous Christmas specials which have always been adored by fans." The BBC declined to comment.

"Rest assured, Doctor Who is going nowhere," Phillips said at the Edinburgh TV Festival, with Lindsay Salt, the BBC's director of drama, saying they were "committed" to bringing the show back.

What an unfortunate and revealing way to phrase that.

Phillips addressed a potential end to the BBC's "great" production partnership with Disney+, adding: "Going forward, with or without Disney, Doctor Who will still be on the BBC. The Tardis is going nowhere."

LOL. It's like she's subconsciously trying to admit the truth.

Gatwa, 32, said he left the programme because "it's a role that demands a lot of you, physically and emotionally and mentally".

The Guardian claims it's all due to Trump's tariffs (which are now a very reasonable 10%), a cyberattack, and generally poor conditions in the auto industry.

It has nothing to do with deciding that rich men were no longer the target clientele but rather transgender mutants living in public housing.

Jaguar Land Rover's annual profits have slumped by more than 99% as it counted the cost of US tariffs and a cyber-attack that disrupted its factories for months.

Britain's largest carmaker made only 14m pounds in profit before tax and exceptional items in the year to March, down from 2.5bn pounds the year before, according to financial results published on Thursday.

The manufacturer, which employs 33,000 people in the UK, suffered a series of blows as Donald Trump's automotive industry tariffs caused turmoil in its important export market.

That was followed by a damaging cyber-attack on the last day of August that forced the company to shut down most of its systems and factories for weeks, with disruption rippling on through the autumn.

The tariffs, which Trump raised to 25% before agreeing a deal for 10% for the UK, hit US demand for JLR's luxury cars, before supply of products was halted by the attack. As a result, revenues fell to 22.9bn pounds, down by more than a fifth compared with the previous 12 months.

Did anything happen to the brand that might have caused demand to fall, I wonder?

JLR also said sales were hit by competition in China, where a huge number of carmakers are introducing new products.

JLR was not alone in struggling with tough conditions within the automotive industry. The Japanese manufacturer Honda on Thursday reported its first annual loss in 70 years as a listed company.

Honda was forced to write off 1.6tn yen (7.4bn pounds) in investments in electric cars after Trump removed subsidies for battery vehicles, pushing it to a loss of 423bn yen.

PB Balaji, who took over as chief executive of JLR only a few weeks after the hack, said: "JLR faced a challenging year with revenue and profit affected by multiple headwinds, including a pause in production following the cyber incident."

However, he said the company "ended well" and had "come back resiliently".

Uh-huh. Your anus is very resilient but there's just so much pounding it can take.

*TBH, the move away from a Christmas special to a New Years special could have worked. The Doctor Who "Christmas" episodes of course had nothing to do about Christ or Christianity, and just were about corporate Christmas decorations and theming. Like an episode where London is attacked by alien space ships that look like Christmas stars, or when London is attacked by plastic Santa Claus statues, or when Doctor Who meets the literal Santa Clause. (Well it's some kind of dream bullshit.)

After six of these dopey Christmas Parody episodes, I stopped watching them, even when I was still watching Doctor Who. I never saw the Narnia parody one, for example. I realized that all "Christmas" episodes they would be absurd garbage about killer reindeer robots from space or interdimensional strangle-serpents that looked like silver garland.

But the fact that they made this change during Peak Wokeness made everyone suspect that they were just hostile to Christianity and would rather do episodes about Eid instead.
