CBP/ICE funding bill will not be on President Trump's desk by June 1st, as he had said he wanted.

Senate going home. Bad vibes on the Hill today.

Supposedly this is over his pique at the weaponization compensation fund, but, as with Thomas Massie discovering the Epstein files for the first time weeks after Trump called for him to be replaced -- that's creating a fictional "policy" cover because the power-politics "I'm in charge" gripe is too petty to be admitted.

So Thune and company having a temper tantrum over Trump's Paxton endorsement so he's using the weaponization fund as an excuse to once again not do his job.

Senate leadership is an absolute disgrace and every single one should be replaced.
