Republicans Sean Duffy, Brandon Gill Expose Democrats' Fathomless Corruption

Brandon Gill grills Chicago's radical racist grifter Brandon Johnson.

Johnson has been receiving expensive personal gifts like cufflinks and Gucci bags from people and organizations he refuses to disclose. He says he accepts these personal gifts "on behalf of Chicago," but I don't think Chicago is wearing the cufflinks or toting the Gucci bags. I think it's Johnson himself.

And he says it's nobody's business where the bribes he accepts on behalf of Chicago come from, Honky Ass White Devil.

Johnson: "So I did not receive those personally. The city of Chicago..."-

Gill: "You received those on behalf of the ciry of Chicago. I understand the difference Do you know who has provided those to the city of Chicago? Do you know who gave those to the city of Chicago?"

Johnson: "Again, I was here and I was invited..."-

Gill: "I'll also take that as a no. On March 19th, 2024, you received a Davinci bag, a Kate Spade purse, and Carucci shoes. Do you know who gave the city of Chicago those?"

Johnson: "Again, I was brought..."-

Gill. "I'll take that as a no. I'm reclaiming my time... This raises serious ethical concerns. You're providing an enormous amount of aid to illegal aliens, aiding and abetting criminals who have come into our country illegally. And you yourself are receiving an enormous amount of gifts, and you won't even tell us who they're coming from. That raises serious ethical concerns."

Patty Murray attempted to smear Sean Duffy with some question I frankly don't know the context for. She seems to be saying that the Department of Transportation accepts donations to some bullshit organization and that entitles you to invites to department functions.

I don't know if that's true and I don't like the sound of it, to be honest, but on the other hand, that kind of "give us money for X building and we'll give you ten minutes with the president and a photo" is utterly common and just the way things work. No one handing over a $50,000 or $100,000 check is doing so without getting to chew the ear of a politician or his senior staff for an hour or two.

But like I said, this kind of low-grade corruption is the law of the land and always has been.

But while Murray demands answers about that, she does not want to answer what $2 million from lawyers' lobbyists buys them. And she, he says, has jurisdiction over those affairs.

She insists that it's completely out of line to ask her the same question she just asked Duffy.

I already linked this one, but if you missed it: Duffy did come prepared, as Murray whined, with a list of all the million dollar plus donations from lobbyists and industries these senators have direct legislative jurisdiction over.

DUFFY: $500K from the TRIAL BAR to fly you on a PRIVATE JET! They paid for you to fly. Answer to that. I made NOTHING. They put your face on TV, your dinners, your vacations. I make NOTHING on this. I make no money.

Gillibrand insisted there that she's never been on a lobbyist-funded private plane, but this old article names her and Chuck Schumer as Frequent Flyers on Graft Airlines.

But... I don't think this represents the courts admitting these prosecutions were flawed. I think this is just a procedural step given the pardons and commutations of these sentences by the president.
