The Morning Report — 4/ 28/26

Good morning kids, the third attempted assassination of President Trump and in this instance as many of his cabinet members and advisers that were close enough to him at the WHCD will no doubt be the top story at least through the end of the week. Or until the Fifth Columnist Fourth Estate exhausts itself in its attempt to evade its responsibility in painting President Trump as an "Imperial" president and literally Hitler. With that is casting over half the country as racist Nazi white supremacists. Again, if this President were even a fraction as tyrannical and despotic as the Democrat/Leftists have historically been for over 200 years, that party and everyone in its base would've been smoke up a crematorium chimney or worm food in a mass grave long, long ago.

Compare and contrast. Charlie Kirk, a vocal, passionate and effective opponent of Leftism, who sought to defeat them, via civilized debate because he respected their right to express their opinions in a free and open society and let people decide for themselves.

The Democrat Left on the other hand could not allow that and so Charlie Kirk is in an early grave. Meanwhile vermin like Puce Stinkspleen and Jimmy Kimmel can spout the most vile abuse and blood libels at the President and First Lady with impunity knowing full well that the odds of them being in any kind of mortal peril is essentially zero. More likely they'd be praised for "speaking truth to power" (vomit) from all quarters of the Left. And again, not only do they have nothing to really fear from normal Americans of every stripe, from those who are MAGA all the way to just regular folk, there are those who have condemned the calls for Kimmel to be taken off the air and censored. I am fiercely pro free speech but at some point there is a line that we dare not cross that ventures into actual incitement.

In fairness, I'll be the first to admit that some of my rhetoric might, MIGHT, be interpreted by some as getting close to that line. The difference is, I have history and facts to back up my rhetoric in calling out the Democrat/Left for who and what they are.

Yeah some "imperial president" we have, eh Fareed Zakaria?!

Taking a shot at the king, whether with a gun or even rhetorically usually resulted in one's head on a pike.

Beyond that, despite Kimmel et al who have railed against Trump for years now still have platforms and worse, followers who will never abandon them and echo their poisonous bilge. As repulsive as they all are, I say let them speak and hopefully foist themselves on their own petards when they lose their audiences and influence.

But of course, they will never countenance open debate because they look upon us and our leaders as an evil to be eradicated. Always have, always will.

With now the third serious assassination attempt against President Trump on the books, it is an important juncture to examine the intellectual gleischaltung that encourages American society and global society to view Republican Presidents as the height of all evil. More than Kim Jong Un of North Korea, more than Vladimir Putin of Russia, more than Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran, more than Chairman Xi of China, Republican Presidents are rhetorically imbued with intrinsic evil that requires all available means of persuasion -- including assassination. Since the assassination of Lincoln, the press and academic culture have worked together to create a sense of moral purpose in killing Republican presidents. On July 11, 2007, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Betty Williams gave the keynote speech to the International Women’s Peace Conference in Dallas, Texas, and said (to laughter and applause from the audience):“I mean right now, I could kill George Bush, no problem. No, I don’t mean that. I mean -- how could you nonviolently kill somebody? I would love to be able to do that.” As a Republican President, George W. Bush was subjected to a media and academic character assassination regimen that drove his approval into the 20s before he left office in 2009. A Methodist minister, Charles Moore hated President Bush so much that he immolated himself at Grand Saline, Texas in 2014. He expressed written regret that he lacked the courage to burn himself alive on the campus of SMU where George W. Bush’s Presidential library is located.

Republican Presidents who were assassinated or subjected to attempted assassination include: Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. Ironically, the most well-known presidential assassination was certainly that of John F. Kennedy, a Democrat president killed by a sniper assassin. The rhetoric surrounding this 1963 event provides insight into the enduring anti-Republican ethic of the American public sphere. Lee Harvey Oswald almost certainly killed President Kennedy in Dallas, Texas. One of the most treasured canards of American history is a vast array of conspiracy theories that seek to exonerate Oswald...

...Our intellectual and academic culture is dangerously creating violent pro-assassination rhetoric that is creating this cultish desire to kill President Trump. It is not only dangerous to the United States but also the Democrat Party that offers itself as the primary point of peaceful opposition to President Trump. Revered Democrat strategist James Carville recently commended his own ‘trump derangement syndrome,’: "I hate the motherf-----. And you know what? I don't want to get rid of it [TDS]. I don't want to get better. I want to get worse. I want to hate him more."

James Carville is not the equivalent of an unknown goat-herding/boffing head-chopper holed up in a cave in Tora Bora. He is a major Democrat/Leftist political leader - a Grand Imam genuflecting before the Mecca space rock. And the true believers, and they constitute hundreds of thousands if not millions of our fellow citizens (in name only!) eat this up day in and day out.

Yes, They Want Trump Dead. They Also Want You Dead. That’s the core element of the Democrat Party platform.

... And in 2020, Kamala Harris said of the left’s riots, “They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not going to stop and everyone beware, because they’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop before Election Day in November and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. Everyone should take note of that on both levels. They’re not going to let up and they should not and we should not.”

They haven’t. If anything, they’ve stepped on the gas. Why? Because as the great David Horowitz memorably quipped, “Inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out.”
As Trump continues the painstaking work of dismantling the left’s clandestine power structure, the totalitarians will continue to get out and make themselves known. The Democrat Party is today the party of authoritarianism and violence. This is not an aberration or a momentary case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. This is what the party is at its heart.
