CNN Story Valorizes Islamic Terror Bombers, Then CNN Claims It Was Just a Mistaken Tweet

CNN's spokespotato and inveterate liar Brian Stelter is pretending it was only the "tweet" which was egregious. But he's lying. The tweet just repeated the first sentence "lede" of the story.

The story was later stealth-edited, but people had screencapped it.

Last night, a friend mentioned how strange he found it that two Muslims would target a Muslim mayor's residence. I had to explain that that's not what happened. But it's proof of what a good job outlets like CNN have done obfuscating the truth. Together with Mayor Mamdani, the liberal media has worked assiduously to make it seem like Mamdani--rather than a group of anti-Mamdani non-violent protestors--was the real victim of Saturday's terrorism.

Ever since two ISIS-inspired terrorists, Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi, threw explosive devices at a group of non-violent anti-Muslim protestors in New York City on Saturday, Mayor Zohran Mamdani has gone out of his way to denounce . . . the protestors--the would-be victims of the terrorist attack, had their assailants succeeded.

The protest was led by far-Right social media personality Jack Lang, who gathered 20 protestors outside Mamdani's residence, Gracie Mansion, to "Stop the Islamic Takeover of New York City." They were met by 100 counterprotestors, two of whom threw IEDs at Lang and his crew. By the grace of God, the bombs didn't detonate; it had been the intent of the two terrorists to exceed by leaps and bounds the Boston Marathon bombing in casualties.

You wouldn't know it from how Mayor Mamdani described the event. His initial tweet omitted any mention of the motivation behind the attack, though one of the assailants cried out "Allahu Akbar" as the device was thrown.

Instead, Mamdani led by attacking the people who would have been the victims of a massive, violent terror attack if Balat and Kayumi had succeeded.

This is literally liberals protecting themselves from real psychological shock and pain. When they face a reality that is completely opposite to what they believed to be true, instead of admitting they may have been wrong about terrorism over the last 20 years, their brains start rewriting the story to protect themselves from cognitive dissonance.

I think that was a good explanation ten years ago. Now they know what they're doing. They're simply in a war with us, although most of them are too meek and cowardly to do the killing themselves, so their contribution to the effort to literally murder us is to produce propaganda on behalf of tranny mass-shooters, antifa arsonists and street-fascists, and Islamofascist terrorists.

By the way, one of the terror lawyers is claiming these two Cultural Enrichment Boy Scouts never met before the day they attempted to commit mass casualty terrorism.

It's either 1, true but irrelevant -- many terrorists plot via email and do not meet until it is physically necessary -- or 2, just another taqiyya lie.

One of the two terrorists was videotaped throwing the bomb. This terror lawyer probably represents the other terrorist. Now, if you're a co-conspirator in any crime, you are chargeable for all of the acts mutually agreed to in furtherance of the conspiracy, even if you didn't physically perform them.

This lawyer, I am educatedly guessing, is trying to claim there is no conspiracy so that his client will not be convicted of the bombing, having not been caught on video throwing the bomb.

And that's a lie. Obviously these two Islamic radicals from Pennsylvania knew each other and conspired to kill non-Muslims who resist the Muslim invasion.
