BAFTA Tourettes Incident Pits the People Who Cancel Over #Racism Against the People Who Cancel Over "Abelism"

The BAFTAs are a low-rent knock-off of the Golden Globes for the UK only.

A film had been nominated for an award, called I Swear. It's about a Tourette's syndrome advocate, who happens to be afflicted with Tourette's himself. The movie shows him being beaten up and otherwise suffering because the Tourette's causes him involuntarily to curse or otherwise say inappropriate, offensive things.

Two Americans, Michael B. Jordan and Deroy Lindo, were presenters at the awards show. They had to import two Americans because Britain only has like six "stars" and they were all busy filming Poroit episodes or Doctor Who.

These two Americans are black. Black people were presenting awards in front of man suffering from Tourette's. A man who frequently gets beaten up because his brain unconsciously decides what would be the worst possible thing he could say in a situation, and then makes him say it.

This mortification was not enough for Woke Lefties, who really want you to know that they know that you should never yell the n-word under any circumstances, except if you're berating a black ICE officer.

Woke Retard Film Critic Grace Randolf just kept not understanding what Tourette's "involuntary verbal tics" meant. No matter how many times it was explained to her, no matter how many times she was Community Noted, she kept not grasping the meaning of "involuntary" and kept insisting the man should not have said the n-word.

Eventually she conceded that the tics are involuntary but then insisted he should have voluntarily restrained his involuntary tics anyway. Because #RacismBad!!!

No, seriously. She kept attempting to #Cancel the guy until the thousandth time she was told that Tourette's is a real condition whose main symptom is completely involuntary tics.

She eventually acknowledged, Okay, they're "involuntary" and "uncontrollable."

And then insisted: But he should have controlled himself!

After a day of this, she offered a compromise: I will acknowledge his tics are uncontrollable if he apologizes for the harm he did by not controlling his uncontrollable tics.

What you "contributed to the conversation" was ignorance, hared, immaturity, stupidity, bull-headedness, reflexivity and fixedness, and a mean girls determination to virtue signal and cancel no matter what the circumstances. The "conversation" was ten million people repeatedly explaining the definitions of "involuntary" and "uncontrollable' to you, and the meanings of these words continuing, somehow, to elude you.

It turns out the real ignorant ones were people like Nerdrotic and other "racists" who kept trying, unsuccessfully, to explain the meaning of the term "involuntary" to her.
