Update in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Case: Black Gloves Found, Video Shows Man in a Mask Attempting to Scale Wall

Two days ago, the FBI released images found in the memory of Nancy Guthrie's ring doorbell.

She had gone missing from her house on January 31st, and then later a ransom note was sent to Savannah Guthrie.

The FBI on Tuesday released a series of surveillance photos recovered from the home of missing Arizona woman Nancy Guthrie. FBI Director Kash Patel described the masked individual pictured as armed and said the subject appears to have tampered with the camera.

"Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance," Patel wrote on social media.

Yesterday, the FBI picked up a person-of-interest wanted for questioning. Note that person of interest doesn't mean you're a suspect, just that they want to talk to you -- like, your car was spotted in the area at the time of the crime, and they want to know if you saw anything.

That man was questioned and released and the FBI said he had nothing to do with the kidnapping.

Fine, this is what happens in cases -- you pursue people for questioning, and sometimes you find out that what they know is what you know -- dick.

I mention this only because the second-most repellent Democrat Senator, and it's a hell of a competition to make the top five, Chris Murphy attacked Kash Patel for having dared to question a man whose car was in the area.

Should the FBI just stop pursuing leads, Chrissie? Tell you what, you tell Savannah Guthrie the FBI is going to take a wait-and-see attitude about her kidnapped mother and let us know if she agrees that's the prudent course of action.

Is the problem that the man was Hispanic? I want the Democrats to be clear: Which races, precisely, are immune from being suspected in crimes and being prosecuted for them? Which races have complete immunity to criminal law?

Stop hinting around the edges, Chrissie. Tell us which races are now officially so superior that cops are simply not allowed to ask them a single question.

They found new video of a man attempting unsuccessfully to scale a wall in the vicinity. No word yet from Chris Murphy if they should let this lead sit without investigation, because it might turn out to be a completely different guy.

They also found a single black glove similar to the ones the abductor is seen wearing. They're planning on testing it for DNA, but they should check with Chris Murphy. After all, it might be a glove belonging to an innocent person. Wouldn't want to waste resources on a DNA collection that goes nowhere!

Newly released footage showed a man trying to scale a wall in Tucson while wearing a similar backpack to the one Nancy Guthrie's captor was seen with.

An unidentified bald man donning a gray zip-down jacket and blue jeans was seen taking off one backpack while another remained on his back around 1.53am local time on February 1, the same day the 84-year-old was reported missing.

He then appeared to try to get on the other side of the stone wall, but after a couple of moments of difficulty, he walked away.

On Thursday, TMZ reported the outlet received another ransom letter from Nancy's captors, but this time with a threatening message about 'not being taken seriously.'

Nancy, the beloved mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen on January 31 after returning home from dinner and a game night with her other daughter, Annie.

The newest piece of evidence comes after bombshell footage showed a masked man at Nancy's front door, fidgeting with the doorbell camera.

That man was seen wearing a black face mask, thick black latex gloves, and a black bookbag on his back. That clip marked the latest development in the missing persons case in over a week.

On Wednesday afternoon, investigators discovered a lone black glove near Nancy's $1 million home that resembled the one the masked man had on in the doorbell clip.
