Governor Uptwinkles Tim Walz Annouces Withdrawal from Re-Election Campaign After Democrats Tell Him He Can't Win (and Will be Primaried)

In a video below the fold, it's reported that Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar met with Walz and told him she's running to replace him as governor and she showed him polls showing that he would lose.

Democrats need you to know two things:

1, there is no fraud in Minnesota and even if there is fraud, it's not the Democrats' fault and they've been fighting it like cracked-up bears.

2, Tim Walz has failed and needs to go or else he'll be primaried by another Democrat.

It's exactly as it was with Joe Biden -- he's completely, 100% mentally fit but also he needs to withdraw from the race or else all donors will close their wallets to him.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pulled the plug on his re-election bid Monday, abruptly stepping away from a once-touted run for a third term as his administration remains engulfed by sprawling fraud cases that critics say ballooned into the billions on his watch.

Walz, a Democrat and former 2024 vice-presidential pick of Kamala Harris, announced the decision after months of mounting scrutiny over taxpayer dollars siphoned through state programs--an issue Republicans have pressed relentlessly and one that has begun to rattle Democrats privately as well.

In a statement released before a planned press conference, Walz said he had entered the race last September believing he could win a historic third term, but concluded after discussions with family and advisers over the holidays that he could not devote himself fully to a campaign.

He framed the exit as a choice to prioritize governing, arguing that time spent defending his political future would detract from protecting Minnesotans from criminals who "prey on our generosity" and from political cynics who exploit division.

He also, get this, Blamed Trump, claiming that he was dropping out of the race because he could not abide Trump attacking his beloved Somali Pirate Donors.

His statement is released in a font similar to Comic Sans, called Middle Aged Queen Sans.

Walz has repeatedly claimed that the billions in fraud he shepherded is all Trump's fault, not his.

Below, Mary Katherine Ham notes that every Democrat in Minnesota politics, including would-be replacement governor Amy Klobuchar, knew damn well that their Somali Pirate Donors were robbing taxpayers blind and said nothing because of the "woke mind virus" that says no minority can ever be accused of or held accountable for a crime.

And that's the generous interpretation. The other one is that they were being paid off by Somali Pirates.

Mary Katherine Ham also points out that jihadist antifa AG Keith Ellison was caught on tape promising Somali fraudsters that he would protect them from investigation and resist any efforts to tighten the laws to prevent fraud.

Governor Uptwinkles offers another reason for his withdrawal: He fears he couldn't give his "all" to a reelection campaign while simultaneously being the Super Fraud Fighter that he needs to be (and always has been).

See guys he's just so eager to arrest the Somali criminals bankrolling him that he couldn't devote himself fully to campaigning.
