Democrats' shutdown crusade is deeply out of touch with voters

By 62% to 38%, the public expects the Democrats to lose the shutdown stunt.

You can't yell at me for posting this schmoll because Trump is trumpeting it.

Most Americans want Democrats to end their disastrous government shutdown, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.

It comes as service members and federal employees are set to miss their next paycheck, critical food assistance for low-income women and children is in dire jeopardy, states are staring down an economic catastrophe, and layoffs could be imminent -- all because of Democrats' sick push to give illegal aliens free health care.

Here are the key results:

70% oppose the government shutdown.

65% say Democrats should accept Republicans' clean, nonpartisan continuing resolution.

62% say Republicans "will win the government shutdown."

55% say Democrats are "just trying to please their base."

On Israel: 74% oppose the Tucker-Candace-Democrat-Antifa pro-Hamas position.

Fascinating tidbits from the new Harvard-Harris X poll, which has consistently been the only pollster asking questions on Israel-Hamas over the last two years.

- 25% of Americans support Hamas over Israel

- This is led by 32% of @TheDemocrats supporting Hamas over Israel. Not supporting Palestine, but supporting Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization.

- A strong majority believe that Hamas must release all of the hostages without any preconditions.

- 25% of @TheDemocrats (17% of @GOP voters) believe that Hamas should not release all of the hostages without any preconditions.

- 69% of @TheDemocrats oppose @realDonaldTrump's 21-point peace plan that has been accepted by Israel and is being pushed by all of the Arab states. The plan calls for the release of all hostages, Hamas disarming and leaving power, Palestinians remaining in Gaza, rebuilding Gaza, and an Arab peacekeeping force to come in and buoy a Palestinian government structure.

- 61% of Gen Z voters oppose the 21-post peace plan.

Those are some crazy datapoints that are demonstrating that there might be a bigger issue of moral rot in our society because of foreign adversarial propaganda.
