Just the News: Charlie Kirk Has Been Murdered, Shooter Still At Large
Apologies to TJM for posting his post- - I thought we were in a news lull with Kirk in stable condition.
Just the News says that he has died.
They further say that the deranged Democrat arrested at the even is not the shooter, who remains at large.
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday at an event in Utah and has been confirmed dead at the age of 31.
Multiple sources confirmed his passing to Just the News.
Kirk was speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Despite an initial statement from the school confirming that the suspect was in custody, the person initially arrested was apparently not the shooter, who remains at large, CNN reported.
President Donald Trump noted his passing:
We are in a different world than the one we woke up in. (And that one wasn't that great either.)
I will repost TJM's post tomorrow, when there's no so much breaking news. Sorry, TJM.
I'm also sorry for saying that posters posting this sad news were trolls. I've just seen so many leftwing celebrations on Twitter (at Reddit and BlueSky and TikTok), I thought that lefties were now infesting the comments to dance on Charlie Kirk's grave.
I wish * had something wise and comforting to say.
I will say that he was a great moral crusader, smart tough and full of guts, and that he inspired many in life and will inspire still more in his death.
I pray for him. I do not pray for his killers, and those who celebrate his killing. For them, there is only cold, deadeyed hatred.
"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God."
Matthew 5:4-8
Rest peacefully in the merciful arms of Jesus, Charlie. May the Lord give your family peace.

Tolkien had a good thought on this:
"It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till."
The uprooting will not be easy.
