Golf Star Bryson DeChambeau Gives Teen Fighting Leukemia An Unforgettable Day

In a beautiful act of kindness, professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau recently gave a Tennessee teenager, Evan Hayes, a day he and his family will never forget.

Evan, who lives in Celina, Tennessee, is a passionate golf fan and player currently battling an aggressive form of leukemia. After learning about Evan’s condition, DeChambeau stepped in to create an extraordinary experience for the young fan.

Despite his packed schedule, DeChambeau made time to hang out with Evan while doing an interview and filming with popular video creator Zach King—who also surprised Evan with some merchandise. Evan explored Bryson’s gym, trophy room, and even got to chip balls with him on the backyard putting greens.

It didn’t stop there. Bryson gave Evan a full outfit from his personal closet, golf balls, and lots of autographed items. He also treated the family to both lunch and dinner, and wrapped up the day with a round of golf at Grapevine Golf Course in Texas.

Let’s discuss mother of the bride dresses! Planning a wedding is definitely a whirlwind of decisions, and the right dress for the MOB is one of the biggies. A few etiquette considerations should be involved when deciding on the perfect dress:

Coordinate with the wedding’s formality and vibe. Think about the venue and season as well.

Get input from the bride to see if she wants a cohesive look or not, and have a conversation with the groom’s mom to ensure you both are aiming for the same level of formality (that aligns with point 1).

Make sure you are complimenting, but not competing with the bride especially, but also the bridal party. You don’t want to look like part of the bridal party; avoid a dress that is the exact same shade as the bridesmaids. You can be cohesive without matching.

In the spirit of not competing, steer clear of white, or if your bride is wearing a dress other than white, the color of the dress she has chosen. Black is okay in certain circumstances (vibe matching), but not all, and avoid being too bold. Choose a style that is flattering, think age appropriate elegance.
