The Self-Declared "Party of Science:" We Don't Want to Know Why Autism Rates Have Increased 1300% Over the Past 50 Years, Bigots

RFKJr. talked about the skyrocketing rates of autism in children -- now 1 in 31 kids are autistic.

The numbers are worse for boys: 1 in 20 boys are autistic. In California, that number is 1 in 12.5, or about 8%.

RFKJr. wants to find out why 5% of our boys are now autistic (or 8% in California):

Rather than agreeing yes, we'd like to know the reasons for this, Democrats are demagoguing him for implying, they claim, that the developmental disorder autism is a bad thing we should try to reduce.

Elizabeth Warren says we should celebrate it and, I guess, try to get 50% of our kids to be autistic.

There may be some fraud in this exploding rate of autism. Rich people are no doubt having doctors diagnose their non-austistic children as autistic to take advantage of policies that allow, for example, students to take the SAT without a timer, which is a huge advantage to those students.

But most of this is very real.

So: Why? Does anyone in the Democrat Party even want to know why autism rates have increased 130-fold over a half century?

Or do they see this growing population of autistics as a natural constituency, and an army of loyal Democrat voters?

The below Xer identifies the non-reasonable rationale behind the Democrats' science denialism: They fear the rates of autism may be linked, or claimed to be linked, to the ever-growing vaccine schedule we're subjecting children to.

They don't even want to go there, so they do what child-minded Democrats always do: They just deny there's any problem at all that needs investigating.
