but for the most part, I can. But over the years, some states have relocated
their capital to a different city for various reasons. Do you know that last
time this occurred? If you said Oklahoma in 1910, give yourself a high-five!
Admitted to the United States in 1907, Oklahoma’s first capital was Guthrie.
Then in 1910, voters approved a ballot measure to move the capital 30-ish
miles south to Oklahoma City.
