David Strom has more about David French's subverting-your-expectations convolutions about voting for the most gonzo pro-abortion ticket in history being akshually the pro-life thing to do.

The New York Times pleads for "conservatives" to listen to True Conservative David French's call to vote the Abortion Twins into power:

David French, an Opinion columnist, is an evangelical, pro-life conservative. For the first time in his life, he plans to vote for a Democratic presidential candidate: Kamala Harris.

He says he will vote against Donald Trump "precisely because I'm conservative." In this audio essay, David explains how he arrived at his decision and argues for other conservatives to join him.

This is the first Democrat he's voted for? He didn't vote for Biden in 2020?

I doubt that.

But then, these guys are always announcing "I've finally decided to drop my Republican identification" or "This is the first time I'm declaring for a Democrat." They've been selling nothing but these "nows" and "first times" for the past ten f***ing years.

Is this Kennedy thing real?

He'll be in Phoenix to discuss "the path forward." I assume he won't say, like Kamala Harris would, that the path forward is the path we're already taking, and the key to taking that path is to just keep taking that path.

Kennedy's vice presidential pick, some leftwinger, is raging in anger at the Democrats for blocking their ballot access.

Shanahan, a 38-year-old attorney and tech entrepreneur in the San Francisco Bay Area, told Bilyeu that she did not "put in tens of millions of dollars to be a spoiler candidate."

"We wanted to win. We wanted a fair shot. The DNC made that impossible for us," Shanahan lamented, before detailing all the ways Democrats sabotaged their campaign.

"They have banned us, shadow-banned us, kept us off stages, manipulated polls, used lawfare against us, sued us in every possible state," Shanahan told Bilyeu during the sit down interview. "They've even planted insiders into our campaign to disrupt it and create actual legal issues for us."

She added: "The extent of the sabotage they have unleashed upon us--it's mind-blowing."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is sounding similar notes, assailing the Democrats' lawfare against them:

Kamala Harris is promising "change," and fixing all of the problems of the last three and a half years.

She's counting on braindead liberals to be as airheaded as she is and forget that she's in power currently and could impose all of her "changes" and "fixes" right now.

CNN's Scott Jennings sees the same problem for Democrats in their convention messaging. Last night, both Obamas showed up to sell a new version of 'Hope and Change.' Tean Kamala promises to solve inflation, the border crisis, America's foreign policy, and more. But how do you sell a candidate as Hope and Change when she's been part of the status quo for nearly four years?

Morrissey quotes Jennings:

The gap that I still see in all these speeches, as good as they were, is that she's in the White House right now. Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years. And for all of the talk about division and the problems in the country and people are hurting, Democrats have mostly controlled this country.

Trump had it for four. The Obamas and Biden had it for the rest of the time. And somehow, it's still all Trump's fault, and somehow she hasn't been at the center of it. So to me, that's still the glaring hole in this campaign that hasn't yet been solved at the convention. How do you explain all of the problems that will be solved by the person who is currently in there for the last three and a half years who is supposed to already be working on solving it?

It's a simple question, but an unanswerable one.

The Trump campaign slams "the largest downward revision to jobs numbers in 15 years."

More: These "job figures" are being constantly "revised" downwards. The Philly fed "revised" 1.1 million jobs out of existence at the end of 2022.

The media never reports on these downward revisions -- but they sure do celebrate the initial, completely-fraudulent "estimates."
