Good afternoon and welcome to the almost world famous Ace of Spades Pet Thread. Thanks for stopping by. Kick back and enjoy the world of animals.
Would you like a treat?
Let's relax a little with the animals and leave the world of politics and current events outside today.

Meet The PetMorons
Meet Digit. So named because of the single white spot on the toe of her hind foot (she also has a bit on her throat.) I exercised executive authority in naming her. Slavyanka has already morphed it to Gigi.
Sunny is getting to know his new playmate and loving it. She and a male littermate, with the most defined stripes of any grey cat I’ve ever seen, were dumped at a friend’s farm. Farm wife kept the male, we got Digit.
Marty
Who could resist Digit? Look at those eyes! Wonderful photo.
Update: Settling in:

Hi KT,
This is our 2 1/2 year old velociraptor named Heidi. She may look like a German Shepherd but don't let the disguise fool you.
She is a handful and then some but loves to fetch, dig holes, and mostly frighten delivery people.
She really likes the broke out window pane to look out and will have the sads when it gets repaired next week.
We got her at 8 weeks and I promptly left for a week long conference. The fetching Mrs Beartooth was not amused.
She loves the grandkids and I think she is glad when they leave because she'll sleep most of the next day.
Thanks for hosting the pet thread.
Beartooth
Heidi doesn't look too wild there, but I believe your description. Especially the part about digging holes.

From Aetius451AD:
Ajax passed away on Sunday after coming down with pneumonia.
He was the smartest and most wonderful dog I have ever known and he was my constant companion for almost 15 years.
I miss you. See you again some day.
Heartbreaking that you have lost you beloved Ajax. He looks like a wonderful dog. I especially like the most recent photo of him. I expect you also have fond memories from when he was just 8 weeks old, and when he was growing up.

Diana sent in a couple of photos of her wonderful companion Jack. Note the giant shroom in the bottom photo. Jack spends some time in the garden. Great dog!

My nomination for the next Secret Service Director.
This guy is pulling overwatch for the herd of quail that graze in my yard.

A stalwart guardian bird!

I found this penny sized tree frog sitting on an elephant ear leaf peeking in my kitchen window after a rain.
Dirk Bohunk
A winsome charmer, don't you think?
