Meanwhile, nine co-defendants joined together in a semi-successful effort to have Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her office disqualified from overseeing the case.

DOT Contractor apologizes for profane road sign on I-26

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A contractor for the state department of transportation apologized Monday after a traffic sign in Spartanburg County was manipulated to show a profane message.

Last week, drivers passing the exit 15 on I-26 reported seeing a road work sign with the words “F— STAY ALERT” displayed.

According to SCDOT, the sign was not owned by the state, but rather a contractor doing work on the interstate.
