The Weekend Hobby Thread (2/17/24)

Good afternoon Hobbyists and Bodgers. My esteemed colleague, JJ Sefton found himself locked away at the local Hobby Lobby as a disgruntled employee.

And no, today's opener is not the Fabulous Mrs. Mis. Hum. Her name isn't Doris.

So let's see what's going on in the world of hobbies. And please leave politics and current events outside, down the street and a block over.

Last week's Hobby Thread I had a video regarding the refilling of 1LB LP Gas cylinders/bottles. (Do not post on old threads)

An anonymous H/T came my way regarding the discussion we had regarding disposable bottles. I was provided the name of a company which manufacturers and sells refillable and legally transportable 1LB LP Gas cylinders/bottles.

The name of this company is Flame King. They do have a number of other LP Gas related items.

Commenter OrangeEnt submitted the following video for model railroaders. Although I don't have that as a hobby I watched the entire video and found it interesting. Who knows where else something like this could be applied.

Speaking of watching an entire video. I should watch this one in full. Rumor has it the Cob's dental plan is skyrocketing on March 1.
