Good afternoon and welcome to the almost world famous Ace of Spades Pet Thread. Thanks for stopping by. Kick back and enjoy the world of animals.
Would you like a treat?
Let's relax a little with the animals and leave the world of politics and current events outside today.

Meet The PetMorons
Hi, I'm Joel. I think I sent a pic of Tobie when he was a puppy fresh from the shelter but that was going on three years ago. He's all settled in now and no longer quite so prone to chew sandals to pieces when left alone - though he's still an inveterate counter surfer whenever I turn my back. I'm an old man who lives alone in the desert, and Tobie is doing a pretty good job as my boon companion.
Tobie looks like an exemplary companion.

Rooney and Sangria have appeared before but I thought I'd send some more recent pictures. They are both Maine Coon cats, Sangria is about 20 months old, when we weighed her a couple of months ago she was 12 and half pounds. Rooney is the orange boy, when weighed at the same time he was something over 13 pounds. Even though Rooney is larger than Sangria in both size and weight she still treats him as her kitten and he lets her (same breeder but different parents). The perspective in the pictures is a little off - - Rooney was laying down in the box, that's actually why Sangria is sitting up. It's WAY off in the chair picture but I couldn't resist the picture, with Sangria's arm around Rooney.

Fascinating how the placement of the kitties changes the perspectives of their sizes. They are beautiful.

Our rescue rat terrier Levi - just one look at him and you know he's a good boy.

Yes, indeed. He has that "good boy" look.

A friend of the Pet Thread, with Little Bear, looking dapper and cheerful after a special Valentine's Day haircut.
He has also figured out that the mailman is a friend, and that being a watchdog is a selective job:
He's miniature schnauzer but I like this cut on him.
A great haircut choice.
Little Bear's human Mom is also sentimental for his departed friends, Nikki and Snickers.
