None of the "journalists" are willing to admit any media errors in this story (let alone the truth of it -- they didn't make errors, they chose to take part in repeated disinformation operations).

They also won't admit they made any mistakes in claiming that the novel bat respiratory virus that originated in Wuhan could not possibly have come from the novel bat respiratory virus lab in Wuhan.

They also don't say that the "facts at the time" were wrong. They also don't say that the sources who gave them the "facts at the time" are untrustworthy.

They hide behind the idea that they shouldn't be giving opinions on news stories, which is such a laughable conceit considering that journalism schools now teach that being unbiased only elevates incorrect opinions.

Correct. The same media that puts every Republican utterance under a fake "fact" check microscope also tells us that they are obligated to report the claims of liberal politicians and bureaucrats as delivered from the cathedral with no fact-checking at all.

Of course, they do more than just transmit the lies of the Democrat Party Propaganda State -- they also ruthlessly attack anyone who challenges these claims, and campaign to get them deplatformed and demonetized. These "news" outfits have special units devoted exclusively to intimidating and bankrupting anyone who disputes the Democrat Propaganda State Truth of the Day.
