Hamas Terrorists Surrending En Masse?

On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Israel had taken the fight to Hamas' fall-back stronghold -- after Gaza City, their terrorist capital -- Khan Younis.

Israeli forces closed in on the city of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, engaging in close combat with Hamas fighters in what could be the decisive battle of the two-month-old war, while residents fled from the fighting amid a worsening humanitarian plight.

Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorist group, is defending its last major bastion in Gaza, where Israel believes the group's leaders are hiding and holding hostages, after Israeli forces drove the militants and much of the population out of Gaza City in the enclave's north. ...

Analysts say Israeli forces could face tougher resistance from Hamas in Khan Younis than they did in the north. If Hamas loses Khan Younis too, its surviving fighters could end up in small areas in central Gaza and near the Egyptian border, surrounded by Israeli troops.

"If Hamas loses Khan Younis, they are done. They may have some enclaves there, but they will lose their centers of gravity," said Kobi Michael, a senior fellow at The Institute for National Security Studies, a security think tank in Tel Aviv.

I have trouble believing good news, which is why I put a question mark in the headline, but according to this post by Bonchie, terrorists are surrendering "en masse" in Khan Younis.

Hamas terrorists have started to surrender en masse in the area of Khan Younis, one of the terrorist government's last strongholds. The latest advance has the IDF operating in Southern Gaza, a move that has sparked outrage among those who want Israel to stop short of destroying Hamas (but hide that desire behind humanitarian concerns).

They've been stripped to their underwear to be searched for explosives and, hopefully, to humiliate and shame them.

Maybe Israeli soldiers should rape them. I keep being told that Israel must engage in "proportionate" warfare. Raping terrorists who themselves engage in rape against women would be "proportionate."

Terrorist apologists are claiming that all of these military-age men are not terrorists, but civilians who were "ambushed while attempting to flee."

They also claim that one "journalist" was captured among them, and we all know that no Arab journalists ever collaborate with Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Say -- is that...? Could that be...?

Israel will soon be bringing "the river to the sea" by flooding Hamas' terror-tunnels with seawater.

The IDF has officially decided to flood the tunnels in Gaza. It will start doing so gradually so that it can control any side effects and so Hamas can remove hostages from there in time before they collapse.

I guess that's bringing the sea to the river but I was doing a thing.
