Good afternoon and welcome to the almost world famous Ace of Spades Pet Thread. Thanks for stopping by. Kick back and enjoy the world of animals.

Would you like a treat?

Let's relax a little with the animals and leave the world of politics and current events outside today.

Here's how to do an official I.D. for a hotel Mousekeeper. This one is from Iceland.

We discussed this last week, but it's still worth keeping in mind. It's new, apparently.

Charlie Age 29 .jpg

Hi KT! For a future pet thread. Here is my sweet Charlie (Cha-loooooch, as my friend calls him!).

He's grown up a bit since he's been on the pet thread but he's still just as cuddly.

Best - Boswell

Charlie looks ever so snugly. What a sweetheart!

All of my cats have been featured on the Pet Thread before, but here are a couple of cute pics of my most recent kitties.

One features Hexie, my polydactyl kitty, who has started to slowly infiltrate herself into my bedroom, which is normally Penny's territory. Hexie likes to sit on the cat perch next to the window and watch the world go by. Sometimes, she likes to sit IN the cat perch as it's nice and cozy. Penny is surprisingly OK with this.

The other features Allie, my shy kitty who spends most of her time in my library, as that is HER territory. However, she's starting to come out of her shell a bit and has come into my office once or twice to jump up on my desk. In this photo she decided that I was done reading my book and needed to pay attention to her. Or she was protecting me from the content, as it's a pretty strange book...
.

Love what you are doing with the Pet Thread.

Best regards,

"Perfessor" Squirrel

Well, Perfessor, looks like you are raising some thoughtful kitties there. Cuties, too.

delile n pup.jpg

Delilah with her puppies, four boys and one girl, born on November 20th. For all her awards, ribbons and prizes, this is the most important thing she'll ever do.

The pups' coat color may lighten or darken a bit, but reflect their father Virago's vibrant red. For Borzoi, any color or combination of colors is acceptable.

Hadrian the Seventh

Wow, wow, wow! WOW!

IMG_3645 smu.jpeg

This is Smudge...just chillin'. After a rather traumatic beginning to life, my Smudgee came to me and rapidly turned into an intensely curious, wacky, adventurous feline. In other words, just a really cool cat.

His sister is (Queen) Maeve who has been on the pet moron page before. She is the opposite of Smudge: skittish and decidedly unadventurous. In other words, she hates Smudge. Or to use her favorite phrase: "We are NOT amused by this subject's antics!" as she disappears under the sofa.

RobertM (pretty much just a lurker)

I like Smudge.

If you start feeling nostalgic, here a link to last week's Pet Thread, the Ace of Spades Pet Thread, November 25. Some special PetMoron stories and photos there.

I closed the comments on this post so you wouldn't get banned for commenting on a week-old post, but don't try it anyway.
