US Asks Israel to Delay Ground Invasion... Because We're Not Prepared to Defend Our Foreign Bases from Terrorists

Our "military" has been focusing on more serious matter, like pride flags and drag queens visiting the bases.

This is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. However, I am not sure that the Biden Administration isn't just pressuring Israel to delay for other reasons as well, given their neverending expressions of concern for Gaza.

[Quoting the WSJ:] Israel has agreed, for now, to a request from the U.S. to get its air defenses in place to protect U.S. troops in the region ahead of an expected ground invasion of Gaza, U.S. and Israeli officials said.

The Pentagon is scrambling to deploy nearly a dozen air-defense systems to the region, including for U.S. troops serving in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to protect them from missiles and rockets. U.S. officials have so far persuaded the Israelis to hold off until those pieces can be placed, as early as later this week.

Did we have to borrow them from Ukraine?

This could be a lie -- this could just be Biden making up excuses why Israel can't attack now.

David Strom also quotes Axios, reporting that Biden is doing exactly what everyone suspected he was doing:

President Biden is taking a dual-track approach to the Gaza crisis -- standing staunchly beside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in public while trying to hold him back in private.

Biden's approval rating hits a new low in the Gallup poll. He's been at 37% in other polls, but this is the first time he's dropped so low in the Gallup poll.

He's losing support from... Democrats.

President Joe Biden's job approval rating among Democrats has tumbled 11 percentage points in the past month to 75%, the worst reading of his presidency from his own party. This drop has pushed his overall approval rating down four points to 37%, matching his personal low. Advertisement

At the same time, Biden's approval among independents has declined four points, to 35%, while Republicans' rating remains unchanged, at just 5%. ...

Gallup says Democrats are defecting over anger about Biden expressing support for Israel. That support is insincere and hollow, as the Biden Administration itself leaks to Axios that he's expressing support publicly while restraining Israel privately -- they want to get the word out to their zombies that he does not really support Israel -- but that's still too much support for them.
