The Clintons Are Firing Up the Donation-Sucking "Clinton Global Initative" Graft Machine Again

The only good news is that I think this means that Hillary Clinton definitely isn't running. Her sucking of donations from the plutocrats and bankers and Wall Street hurt her in both of her presidential runs. I would imagine that if she were thinking of running again, she'd avoid starting the graft machine running again.

Update: Wide disagreement from commenters on that point. They say this is almost certainly being done to scam money for another Hillary run, or even a Chelsea run for something or other.

But they are also just greedy. Most limousine liberals are. The "limousine" comes first in that expression for a reason.

Are commenters saying that Hillary Clinton couldn't just be a soulless alcoholic money-grubbing sow?

World Bank President Ajay Banga and the Bahamas' Prime Minister Philip E. Davis will be there. So too Hollywood stars Jose Andres, Orlando Bloom, and Matt Damon. Those are just some of the people who have put their hands up to attend the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2023 next month in New York City.

All the Clinton family will be on hand to personally meet them, too, along with major corporations including Cisco, JetBlue and Pfizer, who will help with "charitable" funding.

The article failed to include quotes around "charitable," so I corrected it.

Former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton announced Monday the conference this year would seek even more commitments to "address climate change, health care issues, gender-based violence, the war in Ukraine and a host of other issues."

"Commitments" equals "donations" which of course equals "bribe."

The annual call for financial contributions follows a long and controversial tradition with the CGI, an organisation which infamously had its genesis on a celebrity-laden private plane flight to Davos and subsequent assertions of charitable efforts around the globe.

The CGI ended in 2016 as Hillary Clinton launched her presidential campaign.

The year before, donations plummeted by 37 percent amid allegations Clinton used the charity to solicit millions of dollars in donations from foreign governments and corporations in exchange for giving these entities favorable treatment while she served as Secretary of State.

If you recall, the CGI was a vehicle for keeping Hillary Clinton's partisans paid lots of money while she plotted her next presidential run. She didn't want them working for her rivals, so the CGI hired them all as "consultants" and "advisors."

And of course the CGI paid her as well. It paid for luxe offices for Hillary, Bill, and even Chelsea, as well as for their travel, personal vehicles, and 24-hour-per-day chauffeurs.

And weirdly enough, despite sucking out tens of millions of dollars from plutocrats and corporate leftists, and paying themselves a substantial vig from that take, they never succeeded in actually fixing "climate change" or "gender-based violence." There's not even a single thing people can point to showing progress on any of their "priorities."

It's almost as if the real priority of the Clinton Global Initiative was just to serve as a legal-looking pass-through for foreign interests to pour money into the back accounts of the would-be next American president.
