Tucker Carlson is preparing to unleash allies to attack Fox News in an effort to bully the network into letting him work for -- or start -- a right-wing rival, sources close to him tell Axios.
Bryan Freedman, the high-powered Hollywood lawyer Carlson retained for the contract dispute, told Axios: "The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous."
According to a new report, Carlson is attempting to get out of his contract, which binds him to Fox News until January 2025, so that he can move on to the next phase of his career. To achieve this, he intends to make Fox News executives' lives extremely difficult.
...
Last month, it was reported that Fox News had a secret "oppo file" on Carlson, just in case he decides to take any legal action against them. Eight sources at Fox News confirmed the existence of the file to Rolling Stone, and insisted it could be used to tarnish Carlson's reputation if he doesn't play nice after separating from the network.
Via Jazz Shaw at Hot Air, Tucker Carlson has spoken with Elon Musk about possibly collaborating on something.
Tucker Carlson has had at least one conversation with Elon Musk about working together, according to a new report from Axios.
However, the former Fox News commentator and billionaire Twitter and Tesla CEO reportedly did not discuss the specifics of what such an arrangement could look like, per Axios.
Personally, I think Elon Musk has gotten into the media much more than he ever wanted to, and I don't imagine much will come of this.
But who knows. Maybe part of this will involve Twitter starting up a more extensive video service platform, and bringing in Tucker as a draw.
A flashback from Twitchy: Tucker Carlson said that he knows for a fact that some congressmen are "controlled" by US intelligence. He mentions one Congressmen telling him he could not text with him, because the NSA reads the Congressman's texts.
And apparently there is nothing the Congressman could do about it.
He also reveals that Mike McCaul, a leader of the congressional neocons, called him an "agent of Russia" and when Tucker called him to confront him, McCaul told him that the intelligence services were claiming he was a RUSSIAN AGENT in their briefings.
Megyn Kelly reviews these recent articles, and offers this new news: When she was leaving Fox, Fox offered her a huge pile of money to stay, and one bonus inducement: That they would fire Irena Briganti if that would make Megyn Kelly stay.
But Kelly wanted to leave, so she left.
I wonder if Irena Briganti knows that story, that she only has a job because Megyn Kelly told Fox, "I'm not in the business of firing people."
