The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

But so long as people do not deny the innately greater worth of the human being and do not equate animals with humans, I have come to regard the love of pets as something beautiful. Given the extraordinary bond between people and dogs (and often cats, but I will focus on dogs), I now entertain the belief that God created dogs for people. Dennis Praeger

Quote II

“For myself, drag has been a passion, an art, and a way to express myself. … Ship life is difficult. Every day fades into one, and high stress and intensity can bring low morale and can cause suicide and bad behavior,” US Navy sailor and drag queen Joshua Kelley

That's right Uncle Sam rub our noses in shit.

Quote III

“The reason we’re seeing so many cases is that people are using marijuana on the street and then discarding the unwanted ends of their joints. And that’s a real problem because dogs will eat those.”
Dr. Amy Attas, a New York City veterinarian

Can we send the Muh-Prinicipaled conservatives to Ukraine along with this latest shipment of weapons?

Unguided Hydra-70 rockets, which are launched from aircraft, are part of the new kit. It also contains an unspecified amount of Carl Gustaf anti-tank guns, mortars, howitzer rounds, missiles, and High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) rockets. All of the specified weapons will be taken out of the Pentagon’s stockpiles, so they can be sent to the front lines as quickly as possible.

Due to the fact that the additional help has not yet been formally disclosed, the officials spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that they are in the “home stretch, when we can say: ‘Yes everything is ready.'”

The latest shipment comes as officials say they are preparing a counteroffensive. They are reportedly hoarding ammunition to stow along potentially extensive supply lines.

“The availability of weapons, prepared, trained people, our defenders and defenders who know their plan at their level, as well as providing this offensive with all the necessary things — shells, ammunition, fuel, protection, etc,” Reznikov said on Monday, referencing the key elements needed for a successful assault

You keep poking a cornered rat, the rat will eventually lunge for you. Are we prepared for this? I think not.

I denounce myself. I just couldn't help myself.......“Police aim to resolve all investigations as soon as possible, however given operational demands and external factors, such as viable forensic options, this may take some time,” a police spokesperson said while eating an Apple Fritter.

The only terrorists that the US Government are concerned about are the American citizens they deem to be dangerous, like those pesky Catholics or Pro-Lifers. Keep shoving Afghanistan buckets of cash.

he U.S. government remains the biggest donor to Afghanistan even in the wake of the Taliban’s takeover, according to an inspector general’s report released late Tuesday.

Some $2.1 billion has flowed to Afghanistan since August of 2021, when the U.S. withdrew the last of its troops and the Taliban toppled the American-backed government and took control.

And while U.S. officials say the money is supposed to be going to assist Afghans and not feed into the Taliban’s treasury, the special inspector general for Afghan reconstruction said officials can’t say for sure that the Taliban isn’t siphoning some of the money away from the groups the U.S. is funding.

Shocked I am. Shocked!

Multiple organizations that pushed for COVID-19 vaccine mandates received funding from Pfizer, according to financial disclosures.

The Chicago Urban League President Karen Freeman-Wilson said in August 2021 that the benefits of mandates “far outweighs” concerns about them. She did not mention that her organization was on the receiving end of a $100,000 grant for a “vaccine safety and effectiveness campaign,” according to a Pfizer disclosure.

That same month, the National Consumers League said it supported mandates imposed by governments and employers.

“In recent weeks, it has become evident that employer mandates are effective at nudging reluctant people to get the COVID-19 vaccine,” the group said in a statement.

The league received $75,000 from Pfizer in the third quarter of 2021 for “vaccine policy efforts.”

The American Academy of Pediatrics drew more than $250,000 from Pfizer in 2021, the bulk coming before the organization announced support for COVID-19 vaccine mandates for health care workers. The group claimed mandates would curb COVID-19 transmission and cases.

On this day: 3 May 1952
Kitty Wells recorded 'It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels'. Wells was disenchanted with her career prospects and was considering retirement, but agreed to the session at Owen Bradley’s studio because of the $125 union scale recording payment. 'It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels' was an answer song to Hank Thompson's 'The Wild Side of Life', and its lyrical treatment of seductive, wayward women. It became the first No.1 Billboard country hit for a solo female artist.
