Quick Hits 2

The Biden official who lied to the press and got them to print that Trump had let three Chinese balloons cross the United States has been outed by two Republican Senators, Wicker and Rubio.

Pentagon official Colin Kahl leaked classified information about the Chinese spy balloon to deflect blame about the Biden administration's mishandling of the situation, according to two Republican senators.
OTS

Kahl, whom President Joe Biden appointed his under secretary of defense for policy, provided reporters with classified information--disclosing that CCP spy balloons may have infiltrated the United States during the Trump administration--Sens. Roger Wicker (R., Miss.) and Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) allege. This is the first time that Kahl has been named as the source of these leaks, which were provided to reporters and appeared in news stories at CNN, Bloomberg, and the Washington Post, in an apparent attempt to shift blame away from Biden after the administration allowed the Chinese spy balloon to traverse the entire United States before shooting it down. While doing so, he omitted the fact that the prior Chinese balloons were only discovered much later and the Trump administration did not have an opportunity to respond at the time.

"It remains unclear whether this leak was cleared internally through the proper channels. Either way, it was a brazen attempt to shift blame," the senators wrote in a letter sent Wednesday to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Bonchie at RedState points out that either Biden authorized this deceptive leak, or he didn't.

And if he didn't -- well, the information this guy leaked is classified -- and leaking classified information is a federal crime, right?

Somehow I think it suddenly won't be a crime for this situation.

Colin Kahl is a particularly nasty partisan who has apparently appointed himself a protector of the man who appointed him. There's a reason no Republicans voted to approve his nomination. He purposely misled reporters, making them believe that Biden's inaction on the spy balloon issue wasn't unique. In fact, the entire point of the leak was to make it seem as if the president was more proactive than those who preceded him.

Aside from that, the information that Kahl shared was classified. Isn't it illegal to leak classified information to the press? I'm sure the Pentagon will claim that he went through to proper channels, but maybe an administration already up to its eyeballs in illegality regarding classified documents should be a bit more careful.

Regardless, what really gets me here are the gullible reporters who ran with this story. Those include Fox News' Jennifer Griffin, who has become nothing but a stenographer for the Pentagon. For example, when Mark Milley got caught pledging to commit treason to the Chinese, Griffin was right there to play comms director.

She's an atrocious hag, and Fox News is Enemy Comms, period.

Michael Shellenberger published a list of those "journalists" who took part in the "Hack and Leak" wargame at the Aspen Institute -- where Deep State operatives coached "journalists" about what to do if RUSSIAN AGENTS hacked and leaked information from someone in Biden's circle... like Hunter Biden. They participated in a wargame, or I think they called it a "table simulation," of what steps they should take in case RUSSIAN AGENTS leaked information from Hunter Biden in the closing weeks of the 2020 election.

So when information from Hunter Biden's laptop really was leaked October 2020, they knew exactly what to do. Suppress that information! It comes from RUSSIAN AGENTS!

These "journalists" all obeyed the orders of the Deep State handlers who programmed them to censor a true story. But one has the sense they didn't need much programming to spin for Biden or support the Regime's censorship campaign.

And check out who's on top of the second column of the first page of these "journalists" who gamed out how they'd #Rig the 2020 election -- "Steven Hayes, Founder of the Dispatch."

hackandleakroundtable.jpg

Hey Jonah Fatburg, have you reported to your small and shrinking audience that Steve Hayes was a conspirator in the Deep State operation to rig the 2020 election, or are they such Snowflakes they need to be protected from that?

Or is it just that Pierre Omidyar and George Soros are paying you to advance Regime propaganda, not undermine it?

You filthy repulsive nepot money-grubbing Soros Baby c*cksucker.

Speaking of fat c*cksucker Dispatch propagandists: Tom Joscelyn is an author at the FusionGPS-promoting Dispatch. He was also a "senior staff member" on the January 6th Committee, so you know he's a real straight-shooting True Conservative Patriot.

If you had any doubt that he's a real straight-shooting True Conservative Patriot, just look at Bill Kristol's gushing endorsement of his defense of the January 6th Committee's impeccable work!

Bill Kristol @BillKristol

A must read here. Tom Joscelyn--senior aide on the Jan. 6 Committee, one of the primary drafters of its report--molishes Tucker Carlson’s lame efforts to rewrite history.

Hi response is actually non-responsive -- he does not address Tucker Carlson's actual points.

He refuses to acknowledge, for example, that Jacob Chansley was within grabbing distance of nine cops at the same time, but they did nothing to apprehend him. He refuses to acknowledge that cops attempted to open doors for him and gave him a guided tour.

He refuses to acknowledge all the video Carlson showed of people inside the Capitol acting peaceably. He pulls the leftwing trick of noting that some people smashed through the doors. Yes -- and we know about them, Fat Tommy. What we didn't know about was all the people who committed no wrong in the Capitol, except for merely being present there -- and you hid that video from us. You continue to pretend that everyone in the Capitol was one of the very few door-smashers and window-shatterers. You refuse to even acknowledge Tucker's point that most people in the Capitol were not that, and should not be railroaded by bent federal prosecutors and crooked judges as if they were.

As Chris Bray of American Greatness points out, this non-responsive "response" has been decided upon by all the Deep State Defenders as the best way to cover up their massive conspiracy to jail citizens on their propagandistic lies.

Tucker Carlson made three claims when he aired January 6 footage on his Fox News program Monday night:

1) The Viking-horned Jacob Chansley, who was charged with "violent entry" to the Capitol, and who was later depicted as having fought his way through the building to storm the Senate chambers, in fact walked the hall calmly in the company of police officers who didn't try to stop him, and who in fact tried to open doors for him.

2) Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), who was depicted by the January 6 committee as a coward who ran, alone, from the mob, in fact, followed police directions and left an area with many other legislators.

3) Officer Brian Sicknick, who has repeatedly been depicted as an officer who was murdered by violent insurrectionists in the Capitol on January 6, can be seen walking around unharmed in the Capitol after he is supposed to have been killed.

Also, Carlson explicitly said that some people were violent at the Capitol on January 6.

So watch what the political class is saying about Carlson's broadcast:

Republican Senator Thom Tillis reacts to Tucker Carlson releasing never before seen J6 footage:

"I think it's bullsh*t."

Welcome to the DC Uniparty. pic.twitter.com/jenVBLeYxH

-- Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) March 7, 2023

Thom Tillis isn't responding to Carlson's narrow, specific fact claims; he's responding to his cartoon version, steamrolling details and flattening the thing he's supposedly talking about. George W. Bush was especially fond of this maneuver, but most politicians use it all the time...

So ask yourself one thing: In all the post-broadcast ranting about the Tucker Carlson Menace--and let's not kid ourselves, he may invade Poland at any moment--how many politicians and media figures have you heard specifically addressing Carlson's three narrow fact claims about Chansley, Hawley, and Sicknick?

When someone makes specific claims, and the responses are not specific, the response is not a response. It's chaff, and it's meant to cloud the air.

...

It's topic-shifting, quite thinly disguised. Again: When someone makes specific claims, and the responses are not specific, the response is not a response.

Chris Bray notes that the Chief of Capitol Police calls claims that the cops gave Chansley a guided tour "outrageous and untrue" -- even though we can see with our own f***ing eyes that's what happened -- and says they were just employing "de-escalation tactics."

Yes, we know. As I predicted on Tuesday, they would start defending their behavior by saying "these were just de-escalation tactics to keep the situation calm."

Yes, we know that's what it was -- but you cannot have cops grant permission to people to be inside the Capitol through these "de-escalation tactics" and then charge them for trespassing -- being inside the Capitol without permission.

Your de-escalation tactics granted them permission. You can charge them for things for actions you did not give them permission for, like breaking down doors, but you cannot charge people for trespassing when agents of the government, acting at the behest of their superiors, granted permission for people to be in the building as part of their de-escalation plan.

If someone is being greeted by cops and shown around, they will naturally and quite-reasonably assume they have permission to be there. The government cannot turn around and say, "We only granted permission with our fingers crossed behind our backs so it doesn't count, now you're going to jail for four years, Terrorist!"

The police are official representatives of the government. If the cops indicate that your presence is welcome, then, officially, you are granted permission to be present by the government. PERIOD.

The government is legally bound to honor the permissions it granted, no matter what their motives for granting those permissions might have been.

And of course: They will continue "responding" with non-responses to that very simple point.

hamaspropaganda.jpg

Hamas runs this kind of constant agitation to eliminate their racial enemies. The US media runs the same kind of eliminationist rhetoric -- and so does the government that is extracting money from us by gunpoint with which to stir up racial hatred.

One of the most ludicrous prats on Twitter complained a couple of weeks ago that David Hogg had been fact-checked by Twitter. Hogg said that there was no right to own a gun, and Twitter appended a fact check noting that the Supreme Court had in fact stated that every citizen has an individual right to keep and bear arms.

How dare they! Legum shrieked, girlishly. He made up an excuse why Hogg shouldn't be fact-checked -- he just disagreed with the official government position. That shouldn't merit a fact check, should it?

He is either unaware, or just unconcerned, that the leftwing has been appending "fact" checks to conservative posts and articles, or even censoring them outright, for the very crime of disputing an "official government position," or even just an official MEDIA position, for years.

This bothered Judd Legum so much that some wonderful fact-checker decided to rattle his spittle-wetted cage some more.

Biden just lies as usual. Partly it's because he's lied all his life. Partly it's because he is a mental invalid that casually invents a new mentally-degenerate fictional reality with every slurred, convoluted sentence.

Not a single media "fact" check will point out that this is a lie.

Speaking of liars: Anthony Fauci, who lied in claiming that he had nothing to do with the "Proximal Origins" paper which he commissioned which purported to disprove the lab-leak theory, now claims he had nothing to do with excluding Dr. Redfern from the call about covid's origins.

He says he's "a little bit disturbed" by the "completely untrue" allegation that Redfern was excluded because he supported the (correct) lab-leak theory.

Fauci says that "half of the people" on that call supported the lab-leak theory. Yes, and those two people were researchers who Fauci knew depended on NIH and NIAID grants for their living. And in fact Fauci had them completely reverse their belief in the lab-leak and claim that any talk of a lab-leak was conspiracy theories by Racists within 48 hours.

And then he later rewarded them with $8 million in government grants.

Redfern, a former head of the CDC, would not be so easily bullied and bribed.
Note that Fauci is more than willing to go on Neil Cavuto's show -- Neil Cavuto has been a propagandist for Fauci and the NIH and CDC since the start of the pandemic. Fauci knows Cavuto won't challenge him, but will just give him the opportunity to tell his New Lies to defend the Old Lies.
