Breaking: Supposedly, Project Veritas' board has put founder and main draw James O'Keefe on paid leave as they debate whether or not to remove him from leadership of the muckraking outfit.

Why? No idea. Possibly they're upset that the sting of the Pfizer director got violent (on the interviewee's end). Maybe they didn't like that O'Keefe was confronting him like Chris Hanson.

I don't know.

The proven repulsive liar Mitt Romney got into an argument with another proven liar, George Santos, with Mitt Romney apparently forgetting that he has repeatedly lied about extremely important policy positions, such as his position on abortion and government-mandated health care.

I think those lies are more profound than whether Santos played volleyball in college.

Almost as dishonest and flaky as Mitt Romney is Pop Tart Taylor Swift, who says that Christ would want you to get that abortion.

Taylor Swift seems to believe that she can be a Christian and support the killing of unborn babies in abortions.

In a new Netflix documentary about her life, "Miss Americana," Swift insisted that she is a Christian -- even though she promotes political causes that go against Christian teachings, CBN News reports.

The celebrity has been increasingly vocal about her political beliefs over the past several years. In August, she told The Guardian that she supports legalized abortion. "Obviously, I'm pro-choice," Swift said.

In the new documentary, Swift talked about that moment when she decided to become more vocal politically.

Swift said [Tennessee Senator Marsha] Blackburn's pro-life beliefs disgusted her.

"It's really basic human rights, and it's right and wrong at this point, and I can't see another commercial and see Marsha Blackburn disguising these policies behind the words 'Tennessee Christian values,'" she said in the Netflix special. "Those aren't Tennessee Christian values. I live in Tennessee. I'm a Christian. That's not what we stand for."

I wonder if this "Christian" was also cheering her stupid little heart out for Sam Smith's Pee Orgy video.

Disney to lay off 7000 workers, reports... Disney-owned ABC.

Disney is set to lay off 7,000 workers, CEO Bob Iger said on the company's earnings call on Wednesday.

The company is targeting a total of $5.5 billion in cost savings, Iger said. In all, $3 billion in cuts will come from content, excluding sports, he added; while $2.5 billion will come from non-content cuts.

Meanwhile, Disney World (in Florida) will be supervised by an oversight body staffed by DeSantis appointees.

The legislature would not approve the dissolution of Disney's special corporate-controlled district, but they'll now have to operate under the supervision of actual government employees responsive to the taxpayers.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is poised to wrest away control of Disney World's special tax district with a remade supervisory board comprised of his appointees.

After a bruising public fight with Florida's largest employer last year over its criticism of the so-called "Don't Say Gay" law, DeSantis initially sought to dissolve the Disney-run Reedy Creek Improvement District completely.

But Florida's Republican-controlled legislature unveiled a new tack this week -- renaming the RCID and stocking it with oversight board members tapped by the governor.

"The Corporate Kingdom is over," tweeted DeSantis spokesman Bryan Redfern. "The legislation imposes a state-controlled board with members appointed by the governor on Disney and its property."

Maybe Disney should focus more on business and profitability than fighting a culture war against the parents and children who are its primary customer base.

Critics are slamming Disney as "woke" and "anti-white" over an episode of a kids show that features a song covering the history of slavery in the US and the need for "reparations."

The backlash stemmed from a Juneteenth episode of "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder," a reboot of the popular early aughts cartoon that airs on Disney's streaming service Disney+.

A clip from the episode that's been making the rounds on social media shows characters singing a tune about how America has "still not atoned for" slavery and systemic racism.

"Slaves built this country and we the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for," the animated characters chanted from a stage.

The clip was shared by the "End Wokeness" Twitter account with the caption "Blatant anti-white propaganda."

Cancel Disney+. And if you own Disney stock, vote to put a non-woke director on Disney's board.

While the deranged sexual-assailant and demented liar claims that a proposal by a single Senator to sunset all legislation after five years -- which, by the way, permits of course an immediate reauthorization; it just requires congressmen to actually think about whether Endless Programs should go on forever -- it's now being pointed out that Joe Biden campaigned vigorously to sunset all federal legislation after four years, and, as usual, was quite proud of himself for that.

The State of the Union's ratings are down bigly again.

The on-air audience for the State of the Union address fell considerably from a year ago.

President Joe Biden's second State of the Union averaged 24.17 million viewers across the four main broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC) and three largest cable news channels (CNN, Fox News and MSNBC). That's down by about 29 percent from 33.83 million who watched the State of the Union on those seven outlets in 2022.
