The Morning Report — 12/28/22

Good morning, kids. Let me start of today's disquisition with an excerpt from the résumé (that is, rap sheet) of one Ilhan Omar, affectionately known around here as "Bro-fo."

Federal investigators have decided not to prosecute Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for immigration fraud despite the publicly available evidence that she married her brother to gain him lawful status to remain in the United States.
The news that two separate federal agencies have declined to pursue charges against Omar after a months-long probe came from a veteran insider at the Department of Homeland Security.

The case was investigated by the FBI and involved at least one other agency, but the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota, Erica MacDonald, has decided not to prosecute.

MacDonald is a Republican who was appointed to her post in June 2018 by President Trump….

Records indicate Omar was married to two men at the same time in 2009, and that one of them, Ahmed Elmi, was her own brother and a citizen of Britain….

Omar denounced the accusations as “disgusting lies” by bloggers who were engaging in “Islamophobia.” She refused to address questions on the matter.

Then on Feb. 20, 2020, DailyMail published a story headlined “Ilhan Omar DID marry her brother, and said she would ‘do what she had to do’ to get him papers to keep him in U.S.”

Marriage fraud convictions are punishable by five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

The FBI never officially confirmed it had opened an investigation on Omar, but WND’s insider source at DHS says an investigation was launched but is going nowhere.

“The marriage fraud case was turned down by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Minnesota and in Washington, D.C.,” the source said.

The excuse was that the statute of limitations on the case, five years, had expired. However, her divorce from Elmi did not occur until 2017….

“Years ago they would love high-profile cases like this,” the DHS insider said. “This was clear marriage fraud and immigration fraud, that’s a fact.” The insider said that for the D.C. office to decline to prosecute “is clearly political."

Gee? Ya think? In any case, emphasis mine for reasons I will get into but doubtless you have probably figured out. Aside from immigration fraud, Omar is virulently anti-American, anti-Semitic and has been linked to terrorist-adjacent and even terrorist groups themselves. But that's all since she was elected (seemingly), or channeling the erudite Tommy Vietor, "Like, dude, that's like ancient like history, dude!" If you come to Washington DC and get yourself reelected multiple time, it is virtually axiomatic that you will add an extra zero to your net worth upon leaving. Hello, Mikva Waters, who is still there, and the departing Malig-Nancy Pelosi. Why do I bring this up?

Because of a kerfuffle surrounding a newly elected GOP congressman by the name of George Santos.

Rep.-elect Nick LaLota called for an ethics investigation and possible criminal probe of fellow New York Republican George Santos in the wake of Santos’ admission that he fabricated large portions of his biography.

“Over the last few weeks, I have heard from countless Long Islanders how deeply troubled they are by the headlines surrounding George Santos,” LaLota said in a Tuesday statement. “As a Navy man who campaigned on restoring accountability and integrity to our government, I believe a full investigation by the House Ethics Committee and, if necessary, law enforcement, is required.”

Following reports from several news outlets, Santos admitted Monday to lying about being employed by Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, as well as graduating from college. Santos also denied lying about having Jewish ancestry, asserting that he “never claimed to be Jewish.” The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) pushed back against that claim in a Tuesday statement, saying that, “to us personally he previously claimed to be Jewish.” The group added that Santos will “not be welcome at any future RJC event.”

Anthony D’Esposito, also an incoming Republican representative from Long Island, said that constituents are “deeply hurt and rightly offended” by Santos’ “lies and misstatements.” He added that Santos must “pursue a path of honesty” and “operate in a transparent and truthful manner.”

So, Santos embellished his CV. Okay, he lied, both about his job history and being Jewish. How soon everyone forgets the stories told us by such individuals as Hillary Clinton, Brian "Commander McBragg" Williams and even Joey "Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants" Biden, whose every word over past 50 years in public life has been a lie, plagiarism or a lie about the plagiarism. And that's in between the graft and corruption that embellished his bank account at the expense of the American taxpayer and our national security, but I digress.

But George Santos lied about being Jewish. Considering anti-Semitism is now open and official Democrat Party policy and the generally accepted Leftist weltanschauung, I consider George Santos incredibly brave for declaring himself M.O.T. (member of Tribe). But, all that said, the point of this whole thing is not so much the hypocrisy, radiant though it may be. It's the fact that so far the loudest, most vicious and strident voices calling for his scalp are coming from his own party. Above all, from the New York State GOP.

Here is a party that to be fair and honest is utterly useless in terms of fighting the Democrat machines in Albany and NYC, has fielded the shittiest of candidates (Lee Zeldin and even Curtis Sliwa not necessarily withstanding) and has also been neck deep in corruption for decades. They of all people should, if not shut the fuck up about George Santos, should be circling the friggin' wagons around him, and firing in all directions by pointing out the hypocrisy that I merely scratched the surface with.

But no. Because, GOP's gotta GOP. Speaking of bald-faced Jew hatred, like a case of chest-bursting, radioactive Alien herpes, Fat Albert Speer, a.k.a Whoopi Goldberg, evidently opened her filthy, diseased sewer and emitted toxic waste. Yet again.

Goldberg provoked strong reactions when she claimed — during a discussion about the Holocaust-themed graphic novel “Maus” — that the Holocaust was “not about race.” After Goldberg made several apologies, ABC eventually suspended her from the show — but she raised eyebrows again when she revisited the topic during a December interview.
While doing a press tour in London as one of the producers for the new movie “Till” — about Emmett Till, a 14-year-old black boy who was lynched in 1955 — Goldberg’s comments came up as part of a conversation about race, and she again suggested that she had reason to believe that the Jews were not a “race.”

To paraphrase the famous line from Love Story, being a Leftist doesn't mean never having to say you're sorry. It means never having to be sincere when you say it. Or at least in the words of either Sam Goldwyn or Barbara Stanwyk, "The most important thing is sincerity. And when you can fake that, you've got it made!"

Fat Albert Speer, the child anal-rape excuser, ain't going anywhere, my friends. And you know something, as loathsome and detestable as she is, I don't want her to. I am a free speech absolutist insofar as that which I find hateful should not be censored but should be countered with more speech, as well as open debate. The problem here, aside from the alarming fact that a much larger percentage of American blacks than I'd like to admit have open antipathy to Jews, is that the discourse, when the media is not censoring it, has become so poisoned that we get these stories:

Like I said, if George Santos wants to claim to be Jewish in the face of all this, he shouldn't be censured. He should be elevated to House Majority Leader.

Then on Feb. 20, 2020, DailyMail published a story headlined “Ilhan Omar DID marry her brother, and said she would ‘do what she had to do’ to get him papers to keep him in U.S.” Marriage fraud convictions are punishable by five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The FBI never officially confirmed it had opened an investigation on Omar, but WND’s insider source at DHS says an investigation was launched but is going nowhere. “The marriage fraud case was turned down by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Minnesota and in Washington, D.C.,” the source said. The excuse was that the statute of limitations on the case, five years, had expired. Rep.-elect Nick LaLota called for an ethics investigation and possible criminal probe of fellow New York Republican George Santos in the wake of Santos’ admission that he fabricated large portions of his biography. “Over the last few weeks, I have heard from countless Long Islanders how deeply troubled they are by the headlines surrounding George Santos,” LaLota said in a Tuesday statement. “As a Navy man who campaigned on restoring accountability and integrity to our government, I believe a full investigation by the House Ethics Committee and, if necessary, law enforcement, is required.” Following reports from several news outlets, Santos admitted Monday to lying about being employed by Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, as well as graduating from college. It's the fact that so far the loudest, most vicious and strident voices calling for his scalp are coming from his own party. Above all, from the New York State GOP. Here is a party that to be fair and honest is utterly useless in terms of fighting the Democrat machines in Albany and NYC, has fielded the shittiest of candidates (Lee Zeldin and even Curtis Sliwa not necessarily withstanding) and has also been neck deep in corruption for decades.
