Group Runs Ad Laying Blame for the Explosion of Chaos, Violence, and Banditry At Feet of Leftwing Democrat Party

This group is doing what the GOP refuses to do.

In a long form digital ad and shorter radio ad, Citizens for Sanity put high crime back in front of voters at a time when some cities are suffering historic levels of murder and carjackings and one Washington, D.C., area county plans to start enforcing a curfew on teenagers because so many have been shooting each other.

"For nearly 30 years, crime was falling in the United States. No more. The national murder rate is at its highest in 25 years, the result of far-left policies," said the group, which fights "woke" policies and liberal prosecutors eager to clean out prisons with pardons.

"Woke prosecutors are releasing dangerous predators before trial. Woke far-left politicians allowing our streets to be overrun with drugs, homelessess, mental illness, crime," added the radio ad shared with Secrets.

Former Trump-era Justice Department official Ian Prior, an adviser to the group, told Secrets, "Americans don't want their grandparents assaulted by felons released early by leftist prosecutors. Citizens for Sanity is committed to ending the war on police."

In Perfectly Predictable News, it turns out a Clinton "nonprofit" funneled $75,000 to a Defund the Police group.

An organization founded by Hillary Clinton in the wake of her 2016 election defeat funneled $75,000 to a left-wing "defund the police" group whose affiliate worked on a failed campaign to abolish the Minneapolis Police Department, according to a report on Wednesday.

Onward Together, which the former senator from New York and secretary of state created in 2017 "to advance progressive values," provided the general support grant to the Alliance for Youth Action sometime between April, 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, Fox News Digital reported, citing a review of tax documents and annual reports.

The Washington, DC-based Alliance said in a June 2020 press release that it would join "in solidarity" with other radical groups "to demand justice" for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other minorities who died at the hands of police and "joins their calls to defund the police and defend Black lives."

In the statement, the alliance condemned the "publicly-funded policing system that was founded on slave patrols and continues to target and murder Black people."

Also in NYC: vehicular piracy in broad daylight.

The bag that the bad guys stole from the person in the SUV reportedly contained $20,000 in cash. The dudes in the (obviously stolen) $150,000 Mercedes clearly knew the other person had the bag of cash, and went full Grand Theft Auto in the streets of New York, ramming the victim off the road several times as they tried to get away before incapacitating the vehicle and snatching the bag at gunpoint.

Also NYC: A woman crossing a bridge in NYC is random shot in the neck. Her child was just missed by the bullet.

A woman was shot in New York City while riding as a passenger in a car that was crossing a bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan, police say.

The unusual shooting happened around 11 p.m. Saturday along the Williamsburg Bridge.

"As the vehicle was traveling on the approach to the westbound entrance of the Williamsburg Bridge they heard a gunshot," the New York City Police Department said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "The 21-year-old female then realized that she sustained a graze wound to the back of her neck."

"A preliminary investigation determined that a bullet struck the vehicle in the rear passenger door on the driver's side, narrowly missed the 4-year-old female in the rear passenger seat, and struck the headrest to the front passenger seat," the statement added.

Police also said in the area where the shooting happened, the victim's vehicle was seen "making a lane change in front of a dark-colored 4-door sedan."

A photo released by police showed a bullet hole in the door of a 2015 Dodge Dart car.

Why aren't Republicans running on this?

That's rhetorical. It's because most Republicans are urban liberals who have been indoctrinated by the media into believing that any mention of crime is "racist" and therefore the Democrats' choice to unleash a wave of criminality and banditry on America not seen in 100 years must be ignored, per the media's wishes, or only whispered about obliquely.

The media, who are the Democrats, are very good at inventing reasons why any issue that cuts against their party may not be highlighted or even discussed.

Why do Republicans continue to be fooled by this?

I really think it's because most of the "leadership" of the party is liberal. They just believe all the same things they liberals they supposedly oppose believe.

It's less about being afraid of the media, and more about their own liberal sense of propriety.
