Quick Hits

Erick Erickson thinks that because the recent spate of Code Red articles from the leftwing propaganda press admitting that Biden is a failure and mental cripple do not also indict his Chief of Staff Ron Klain, this indicates that Ron Klain must be the source for the negative "insider" quotes in these articles.

Eh, maybe. I think a lot of people are talking, though. And I think that blaming Biden is the cleanest and easiest thing to do. The Democrats always want to blame a Failed Messenger rather than the message itself. They do not want to admit that their strategy of crippling American energy production could possibly have anything to do with soaring gas prices; blaming Biden is a way to save their agenda of destroying American energy production.

Progressives are attacking Biden, meanwhile, for not Defending Inflation.

More specifically, they do not want inflation remedied by escalating interest rates, because they love the runaway spending that results in runaway inflation.

Runaway inflation is crushing President Joe Biden's approval ratings and threatens to swamp Democrats in the midterm elections.

But many progressives -- including some within the administration itself -- say Biden's all-out messaging war against spiking prices is making matters even worse.

They fear that the administration's unswerving support for the Federal Reserve's campaign to choke off inflation will slam the brakes on the economy and undercut the few things the White House has moving in its favor. Among them: a strong labor market, solid wage gains and ambitious spending proposals in areas like child care and prescription drug costs that are popular with voters.

...

While every White House engages in internal policy debates, this one stands out because it reflects broader tensions that are roiling the party: Many progressives believe inflation is likely to ease on its own without severe rate hikes; more moderate voices say the only path to improving Democrats' political fortunes is to bring prices down swiftly.

Remember, progressives believe in a communist fantasy called the "post-inflationary economy," as described in "Modern Monetary Theory," in which the government can literally print up as much fantasy money as the supply of paper and ink will permit, and this will never cause inflation to rise to any dangerous level.

These fantasies had their expression in dreams of "post-work luxury communism," in which no one had to work, but everyone lived like a record company mogul, yachting around the world.

Although, robots did a lot of the literal heavy lifting there. But still note, with everyone now a millionaire, somehow prices do not all inflate to the Millionaire Standard so that a quart of milk costs $8,500.00.

So yeah, they're not giving up on their fantasy that we can inflate our way to prosperity without a fight.

Senator Chris Murphy has figured out that Republicans had a stealth plan to put conservative jurists in the federal courts, and he believes this is essentially Treason.

Kurt Schlicter:

If I were cynical, which I am, I might think that people like Murphy believe in the pinko ratchet theory where America can only move left, but never again right, and since I am aware of what time it is, I am cynical and so I do think that. Murphy's mad because we used the processes and procedures of the Constitution to get our way, and that riles him up good. And our doing so -- despite all the toobining over OUR DEMOCRACY -- is inherently illegitimate because we do not subscribe to his commie ideology.

Now, if I was interested in making an argument, which I am not, I might ask "Okay Chrissy, how then is the proper way for Republicans to go about making the changes they desire?" But I would get back verbal mush because, of course, there is no proper way for Republicans to go about making the changes they desire because everything we do is inherently improper. This is why I am not interested in making an argument. Their currency, as they have demonstrated, is power, and therefore I am only interested in figuratively beating their brains out again and again and again like in the last week of the recent Supreme Court term. This is the only rational course of action since they don't want to govern; they want to consolidate power, and you're not going to talk them out of it by offering bourgeois stuff like facts and law. My new book We'll Be Back: The Fall and Rise of America puts it this way:

"This elite ideology that rejected objective truth in favor of the unprincipled pursuit of power meant that even though its adherents had taken society's helm, no one was bothering to look where they were steering the ship. Instead, they became obsessed with quelling the mutinies of the crew that actually kept America afloat. We were, and are today, adrift, if not actually sinking. The iceberg is right ahead."

These Scholars attacked these fast food workers because they charged them $1.75 for extra sauce. One worker suffered a head injury. All three were arrested, but you know they're not going to see more than an hour in custody.

Former celebrity Macy Gray had a brief moment of candor, stating that you can't just have a fake vagina constructed out of a tliapa and be a real woman:

But then, when the very tolerant T's threatened to literally cancel her -- cancel an appearance in a show called "The Mighty Hoopla" -- she had a sudden Trans Conversion and proclaimed, as Tim Pool put it, that "woman" is just a title that you are given, "like count or duke."

Anthony @anorderlymess

Wow! If only she'd shown us her true colours before @mightyhoopla
we could’ve pulled her from the lineup. Enjoy spending the money you made from LGBTQ people last month @MacyGraysLife #LGBwiththeT

Replying to @anorderlymess @mightyhoopla

there is no bigger admirer of lgbt community than your truly. it takes real balls to be honest about who you are. "woman" is a title that you earn and become. just like "man." there are plenty of females who aren't women yet and every girl gets that.

I mean, I think that's a walk-back? I think she's saying that a man can "earn that title"? But maybe she's not walking it back, maybe she's just double-talking.

Either way, I have no guilt at all about the coming repression of the T's. They have repressed the shit out of everyone else; they deserve every inch of the counter-repression coming to them.

Be careful of how you treat people on the way up, as they say, because those will be the same people getting their kicks in on your way down.

Based or Not Based?
