Quinnipiac poll says Biden has just 25% approval among voters age 18-34 -- the lowest of any age group. If true, would suggest a drastic transformation in the political allegiances of younger voters, who have long been the most reliably pro-Dem age group by far
As a commenter here pointed out, I'd attribute that to Gen Z being left-leaning but not loving the Democrat Party all that much. A lot of them are Bernie Sanders and AOC fans.
Plus, of course, yes, there must be some reevaluation of liberal policies, too. Jimmy Carter minted more young conservatives than Ronald Reagan.
That 29% approval rating from Hispanics is interesting.
Observe, as well, that high 43% approval from the Karen Cohort, whites with college degrees.
A college education attendance is just toxic.
In the Reuters poll, Biden's approval fell for the fourth straight week, to 36%, tying the all-time low he reached in May.
58% disapprove.
Biden's approval rating is approaching -- but has not yet reached -- the lowest levels seen by his predecessor, Donald Trump, who had a 33% approval rating in December 2017.
Biden really hates it when his approval rating falls below or close to Trump's.
