"This Is the Point Where We Have to Draw the Line."
A lot of people on the right -- or rather, a lot of people on the pseudoright, the Conservative, Inc. grifter right -- are not taking the new "Disinformation Governance Board," incorporated as a branch of the armed state security bureaucracy the DHS, seriously.
I'm glad to see that Tucker Carlson is taking it seriously.
He's right.
This cannot be allowed to happen.
Bitch McConnell cannot be allowed to sleepwalk us through this. I don't care if his corporate sponsors are all okay with a new Ministry of Truth because they all think the Workerlings should be forced to live their lives by the Corporate Handbook of Permissible Conduct and Speech 24/7 anyway.
Meanwhile, we're discovering more disinformation from our new Disinformation Czar, if you can believe that.
The Hunter Biden Laptop was an "influence campaign" prop and the fact that it was abandoned at a computer repair shop was a "fairy tale."

Not to mention that the emails don’t need to be altered to be part of an influence campaign. Voters deserve that context, not a fairly tale about a laptop repair shop.
As the new Disinformation Czarina, she should of course be eager to apologize for her previous disinformation.
Do you think she will be?
I don't. As of May of 2021, she was still pushing the "laptop is Russian Disinformation" hoax:

@wiczipedia
IC has a high degree of confidence that the Kremlin used proxies to push influence narratives, including misleading or unsubstantiated claims about President Biden, to US media, officials, and influencers, some close to President Trump.
A clear nod to the alleged Hunter laptop.

Remember: She's an expert in disinformation, with a specialization in Russian disinformation.
And just this week: She told NPR she "shudders" at the thought of free speech on social media.

Last week I told @NPRMichel
: I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities... which are already shouldering... disproportionate amounts of this abuse."
And now she's been put in a job where she gets to tell social media to not allow free speech.
